Review of The Oxford College of Science.
Placements: Placements are not provided for UG students. Placements are provided for non-core subjects like physical science or commerce branches. Microbiology students can select their field of interest to work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms are not good. During free hours, students need to sit on staircases. There is no college ground so sports are very less. Labs are good and spacious. Library has many books that can be used for studies.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is easy for students to understand. Many workshops are conducted every semester to improve the skills of the students. Our college conducts 2 internal exams before the semester exam.
Other: Microbiology department is friendly that organises many programs and activities to boost the energy of students in cultural programs. Teachers support students in their studies. Our department organises a department fest called Micromania which is very good.

I'm absolutely satisfied because of the facilities and good placements provided in 2016.
Placements: A total of 60 students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Cipla, etc. About 90% to 95% of students got internships. It's the best college to get this course.
Infrastructure: The classroom facilities are up to the mark. Wi-Fi is available only for teachers and not for students. In the library, you will get all types of books related to the courses. The hostel is also up to the mark. The quality of food served is not much good. Sports and games are not played here, although there is a field behind the college.
Faculty: The teachers here are very good and helpful. You can freely communicate with them in their free time as well as can call for any doubt. You will get digital studying. Studies are not at the top level. The curriculum makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of exams is average to moderate. You can easily pass if you concentrate on your studies in the classroom.
Other: You can choose this course if you want to do public service, and the income is also not bad. I think there is no need for any improvement.

I heard that placements in our college are good. Many companies visit our college for placements.
Placements: After completing their graduation, many students opt to study further. Many students have got university ranks and got placed in good companies with a decent salary package. About 90% of students got placement at the college. The placement officer manages the placement cell. There are about 119 recruiting partners. Companies like Biocon, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Wi-Fi facility is available, but students cannot use it. We cannot even use data properly inside the campus. The library has been maintained excellently, and you will get all the books you need. Some classrooms are good, and some are the worst as some students have spoiled classrooms. Students also wrote some stuff on the walls. Lab facilities are pretty good. The canteen is on the last floor, and the quality of the food served is not that great. The only problem is it has only a few seats, and it is a messy place. Sports facilities are not that great. The college does not have a ground. It takes you to the other ground, and that is a little far away from the campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, friendly and well-qualified. Since we had online classes, teaching was pretty good. They clear all our doubts. The college offers many courses, and this is the only college that provides many courses. Students get many options to choose from here, and this is the positive point. Semester exams are good, as this college comes under Bangalore University, so papers are not prepared by the college.
Other: Our college organsies many activities and events, and definitely everyone enjoys it. Due to online classes, we missed many programs, and when offline classes start, they will arrange many programs that students find it good. I have chosen the B.Sc. (Biochemistry, Zoology, Microbiology) (Free) course. I have chosen this course because I love studying microbiology as it is interesting, and all my friends love microbiology. This college offers NCC and NSS, which is very interesting, and anyone can opt between these two. You can also take part in many cultural activities.

If you are looking for a B.Sc course in microbiology, I suggest this is the best college for you.
Placements: The placement is good for the M.Sc. students. But, in B.Sc. level, they allow everyone to take part in the placements in the 6th semester. If you are a good student, you can get a chance to get a job in this placement. Last year, two of my seniors got a good job from the placements in the 6th semester only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good than many other colleges in this area. The lab in every subject is too good and have many advanced technologies. There is one classroom with PPT in every department. And, other classrooms have comfortable chairs along with the upper desks and have a chalkboard.
Faculty: I am the student of microbiology department. Now, I am in 4th semester. And, I am satisfied with my faculty. They are very helpful. I understand very clearly when they teach us. They provide notes on each class. So, it is too easy to learn. Especially, I love their way of teaching.
