Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2026

The worst college for commerce students.
Placements: No, this college does not give any placements. No internship in this course. This college doesn't offer any placement nor internship. It's just a normal go-to college. They should improve. The teachers and principal are not really helpful. I am experiencing very badly.
Infrastructure: The commerce buildings are old, whereas the science and arts buildings are furnished. The library is good. The canteen is okay. There are no indoor and outdoor activities. The teachers are non-responsive. Other streams are good according to my knowledge, but for commerce, it’s 4/10.
Faculty: The passing percentage is 40%. The teachers are not really helpful. You have to study on your own. Yes, the teachers are qualified, but they can’t make us understand in a proper manner. No, it doesn’t make us ready for a job. It’s just a normal degree, the worst for money.

Tinsukia College is good for me.
Placements: Tinsukia College is best for learning some knowledge about commerce and I like this college that's why I apply this college for learn. This college teacher is also very nice and teachers also help to growing our knowledge. In my course, almost 93 percent of students are placed.
Infrastructure: In my Tinsukia College, there are no hostels for boys; only hostels for girls are there. That's why for me, this is a disadvantage for boys. Our classroom is also good and the classroom benches are not bad. Our library is the best for reading books silently. And our sports teacher helps grow our future in sports.
Faculty: Our college exam is taken very strictly. No one can cheat. And in our class, there were 2 CCTV cameras for checking in for exams or regular class. My percentage was 70% and the top was 96%. Our teachers are teaching something new for our future. And teachers are helping to grow our knowledge.

Absolutely amazing experience, good campus, really good infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently studying in the 1st Semester, so our batch hasn't been placed. But our college gets recruitments from top-tier companies like Jindal Steel, JSW Paints, and MRF. For graduates, this college provides a lot of opportunities in various commercial and technological sectors.
Infrastructure: The library is available, and the facilities are very good there. Wi-Fi is available in the college labs and conference rooms. The infrastructure is quite good. I'm a day scholar, but the hostel facilities, as I have heard, are good. Medical facilities are available. The college has various inter-college teams for different sports.
Faculty: Teaching quality is awesome. The teachers are highly qualified with great expertise. No, it doesn't make the students industry-ready yet, but the recent changes in the curriculum are setting standards. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, rather average. The pass percentage of the Department of Commerce remains 80-85% every year.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Tinsukia College does not provide placement to students but a workshop is done on what to do after graduation. In our batch, there were 262 students who got admitted with B.Com. honors. In B.Com. honors, we can choose honors subjects accounting, finance, and HRM.
Infrastructure: The department of commerce has many classes, including smart screens, Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, and computers.
In the hostel, we have all the facilities, like good food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games like badminton, volleyball, football, and a library.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful; the quality of teaching is excellent; and the classes are regular. The difficulty level of the semester exam is moderate but sometimes it is tough and sometimes it is easy. The pass percentage is around 60 to 70%.
Other: I chose B.Com. with honors in finance and accounting because I have interest in accounting, mathematics and finance. The best thing about my course was that the classes were regular and teachers were too good. There is nothing to improve about my course. There are many events that are organized in college like Bihu, freshers party, farewell party, sports days, etc.

Infrastructure: Our library facilities are very good, Wi-Fi is available in the college labs, conference rooms, and teachers' common rooms. The infrastructure is very good. Faculty: The teaching quality is amazing in the college, especially in the Department of Commerce. The teachers are highly qualified. The exams are neither too difficult nor too easy, rather average. The pass percentage of the Department of Commerce remains 80-90% every year.
