Excellent Infrastructure, Placements and faculty members.

Placements: They have the best placements from core companies as well as IT companies. Few companies to name are Amazon, Byjus learning app, Wipro, Sutherland, IBM, Tata, Infosys. About 90% of students have been placed at top MNC's such as Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Oracle financial.

Life in Toc H Institute of Science & Technology.

Placements: Infosys and few other companies like Biju’s app, TCS, Sutherland came to the campus placements. Since we are the pilot batch of KTU, we have pool placement by the university. Most of the students recruited are from computer science and electronics department and very few from electrical and electronics departments.

A better college for B.Tech. You can study well if you want to.

Placements: I got placed from an open interview outside the college. The campus interview is comparatively low. Our batch got the interview from Infosys, and 4 students have got selected. We went for an open interview of TCS around 8 placed there. Around 60% of the students got placed, some went for higher studies.

Satisfactory college with good faculty and proper infrastructure

Placements: Placements were good for computer science and IT batch students. The salary package offered was in the range 2-3 lacs with an average package of 2.5 lacs. The roles offered were IT developers and IT testing. I don't remember students doing internships from the college.

Has good infrastructure, but the administration doesn't really care about the students.

Placements: I could not attend the placement interviews due to backlogs. Few IT companies such as Infosys, TCS, UST etc. visited the campus placements. The salary package offered to the students was about 3 LPA. The students were taken as trainees, later on, they will be moved as software developers.

Completely satisfied because of the placement in 2015.

Placements: The placements for safety and fire engineering students in TIST is outstanding. Our department of TIST provides special placement training which is very useful for the students. Every year, the various companies use to conduct the placement interviews in our college. One of our students got placed in Aditya Birla Group of industries as safety officer, and two of them from our college got selected as safety officer in Kochi Oil Refinery.

Toc H Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: The college has decent placements with good companies hitting the campus and taking a fair number of students. Almost all of my batchmates found a place in their respective areas of interest and are all well-settled. Extra sessions that were held for making us competitive enough have helped a lot throughout.

A good college under self-financing category. Overall, good.

Placements: The placements are not so great. They have a few MNCs visiting. But the rest are just small companies/project centres just for the name sake. In 2015, we had Infosys as the main company that visited. Also, a few small companies. Done, that's it. So the placements can be rated as below average.

TIST Safety branch graduate 2013-17 review

Placements: There were no placements for the students of the safety branch. It was very disturbing. Five to six IT companies and some call center companies came for placement. But there were none for safety people. The IT job average salary was around Rs. 8000 and the call center job starting was about Rs. 6500. The IT companies that visited were Easy Soft Technologies, Inter Smart Solution Pvt Ltd. The call centre companies were Sutherland and other private agencies.

Toc-H is an average college, could have been great but the management ruined it.

Placements: The placement in this college is rather dull. TIST used to have better placement for core fields but recently, companies are quite shy. For mechanical engineering students, this is especially true as almost no companies based on the core field came in the year 2017. The companies that did come were IT companies like Infosys and Speridien. About 20% got placed. The highest salary offered was 40 thousand per month. The average salary package was 25 thousand per month. ...

Honest review about TIST Cochin.

Placements: Placements were moderate. Only IT companies came mostly. The only mechanical company which came gave poor job offers. Call centre companies, cheap IT companies, low-class companies visited the campus. Don't expect high-end companies to come to Toc-H. They mostly care about their overall college rankings than the future of the students.

My own experience about my college.

Placements: 100% placement for all eligible students. Top companies are here for placement like Federal bank, KPMG, TVS, Time, Big Bazar, ICICI, Hedge, etc. A quiet placement coordinator is looking after all these activities. Placement is guaranteed for all eligible ones.

Absolutey satisfied with the teaching & non-teaching faculty and the hostel is really good.

Placements: Placements were really good for my seniors almost 90% of them got placed in reputed companies like HPCL NOC. Their highest salary is approximately 2 lakhs INR/month and lowest is 70,000 INR/month. Many reputed companies visited the college like HPCL, NOC, IOC, Reliance etc. The college also provides placement training for students. 80% students got internship from the college. They got up to INR 7000/month maximum and INR 5000/month minimum.

A short review about Toc H Institute of Science and Technology

Placements: Placements were appreciable. Major IT giants like Infosys and TCS made their presence. Infosys took 34 students from TIST and TCS took between 10-20. There were other organisations also for placements. No company comes specifically for mechanical or fire and safety departments. The company list specified by the college is a bit old and is not updated as most of the companies don't show up now a days.

It is a professional engineering college with comparatively good infrastructure and other facilities. The faculties and laboratories are average here. More freedom is granted here as compared to other self-financing engineering colleges. The college hostel food is on an average in terms of rating. It has a good ground.

Please go to this college only if you stay near and if you're home sick. Fees is high and not worth the money if campus placement is what you expect back. The campus is beautiful and is green and eco-friendly, away from the madness of the city crowd. Placements are there but the salary package of the companies coming is not worth it. Mostly call centres and small IT companies. Core companies hardly visit the college. Campus facilities are good and the faculties are also okay.

It’s a good college. Classes are good and campus atmosphere is great. Mostly, software companies visit here for placements. So if you are looking for campus placement in your core sector, you should not join here. I did EEE here. Faculty members and head of the department are good and they interact well with the students.

Pros: Great infrastructure, management is serious about giving great service and it Is a value for money. Senior staff have industry knowledge and can tell you with example why certain principles where developed and how they make use of it in industry. Cons : Affiliated to CUSAT, you will never know what to expect when results come. College is too strict.

Good college in terms of certain factors! Only certain departments in this college are good. Mechanical department is lenient and the teachers are friendly, they teach us with great passion and responsibility. Meanwhile the workshop faculties may demand professionalism in your work and may be hard at you sometimes but they are really helpful and kind. Electrical department is hard on students .They are very strict and even the workshop faculties are hard on us. Even if we consult them for proje...

Good placements and nice faculty members.

Placements: Over ninety percent of students are getting placed. The highest package was around 30 Lacs per annum, with an average salary package of around 2 to 3 Lacs per annum. QBurst, Larsen and Toubro, and SBI Bank are the top recruiting companies. The placement cell is excellent, putting in a lot of effort for student recruitment.
