Nice infrastructure, good faculty and good placements. All the foreign companies visit here.

Placements: Most of the companies visit the college during 3rd year. Internships are also provided. Dummy ships are there in the campus. Workshop of TMI is the best in India. You will not find it in any other marine college. Workshop faculty pays proper attention to each cadet.

Faculty and infrastructure are good.

Placements: 80-90% students get placed. Placement depends on students' academic records and if their academic score is good they get placed easily. Top recruiting companies are MOL Tankers, Maersk Line, Scorpio, and TORM. I have no idea about package yet but I have heard that everyone gets a good package from this college.

It is the best institution in India.

Placements: Students are already placed before the academy started as this is the normal procedure, and for other courses as well. Placements scenario is still high i.e., 99-100%. In the previous year, every cadet of each department is placed.

One of the best Maritime college in India.

Placements: One of the best colleges in terms of placement. Around 100 sponsored students were in our batch of DNS. Companies like scorpio, wilhelmsen, torm, home, ships, and tolani shipping, sponsored the cadets. The stipend varies from 500-750 $ per month. Upon completion of the course, the cadet will be going for cadetship as a deck cadet for 18 months and will be eligible to apply for a second mates license and coc. It is the best merchant navy college.

Placements: The placements of TMI are unmatchable. It's better than most colleges. In my batch, almost all of the students were placed in reputed companies by the 3rd year. The remaining students were placed in the 4th year. If you are searching for b-tech marine engineering placements, TMI is the best.

Review of Tolani Maritime Institute- TMI.

Placements: I would rate 5 out of 5 for placements, because the course which I have done has pre-placements opportunity which means in our course all the students are sponsored. The top recruiting companies are Torm, Home, Scorpio, BSM, Wilhemsen, and many more. This is a one-year course and all students are sponsored after one year everyone will join the ship as a deck cadet.

It is a very good college for pursuing DNS in India.

Placements: 100% placements are available as it is a pre-sponsored course. Everyone is placed before starting the course. Many top-most shipping companies give sponsorship, such as Fleet Management Limited, Scorpio, Torm, Wilhelmsen etc. Many other companies also visited here as it is in the 2021-22 batch of DNS.

It is the best campus for maritime courses.

Placements: The diploma in nautical science batch joins the institute with placements in hands. Cadets have to apply to shipping companies directly or through the institute to get placed. It is a must criterion that students need placements to join DNS courses. The major recruiting companies are Scorpio Tankers, Wilhemsen Ship Management, Terudite, Torm Shipping, Home shipping. The salary scale is only decided when students sign the contract but some companies provide it at the beginning that students can e...

I'm satisfied with college. If you're willing to put extra effort into placements you can join here.

Placements: Placements have gone down due to covid since past 2 years but now it is picking up gradually. I would not suggest taking the B.Tech Marine course. Instead, choose B.Sc. Nautical Science as it has 100% placements. There's no package as such because it is all about the hierarchy system followed in the merchant Navy. Top recruiting companies include Maersk Tankers, chevron, Torm, Thorm, NYK, K-lines, and MSI.
