I recommend, if you want just the degree, then only you join UEC. There is no fun whatsoever.

Placements: The placements are not too good. Wipro and Samsung came to hire the students. It all depends on the student's marks and the interviews. So, the placements are totally dependent on the student's performance. They are quite good in terms of the placements. If a student works hard and scores good, he will get the placement.

Engineering with simplicity and joy.

Placements: As it is a state government college from Madhya Pradesh, the placements were good in numbers and percentage. The companies which visited are TCS, Wipro, Flour Daniel, Denso Haraya, Uttam steel, JSW, Ultra Tech, JK cement, Look Hype, BORL, Bansal Steel and many more. More than 90 percent of eligible students get placement every year, and most of the students have more than one job in their bag. As far as job opportunities are considered, it is very stable and secure.

Good teachers and professors are suffering due to lack of labs.

Placements: The placement is not good from this college, but some of the students have very good placement. On-campus, TCS is the company which hired the maximum. When I was in the first year (2014), there were lots of companies that visited here and hired students. So, we can say that, continuously, the placements are decreasing.

This is a perfect college if you have financial crisis.

Placements: The placements are not that good. But if you are talented and have good technical skills then there are chances that you'll get a decent job. See, the time has come when the companies want to check your skills. So, if you have the skills, technical ones, then you are likely to be placed anywhere.

The college is with the money, and it provides the good faculty members.

Placements: I got placed in JSW steel LTD. Many more companies visited the campus like Ultratech, BORL, TCS. But in Ujjain, it's hard to get the industry exposure. The college infrastructure is not up to the mark, but the faculty members are good and helpful. The highest salary offered to our batch was 5.2 Lpa, and the lowest was 1.2 LPA.

Good college, and needs infrastructure improvement.

Placements: The placements are good, and I got placement into TCS and Wipro. Many companies come here for placements because this is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The placements in this college are better than many colleges in Ujjain. However, there are still many improvements that may be carried out. These basically include infrastructure and brand building.

The college really bad, if you are an ECE student.

Placements: For EC department, don't expect any companies other than TCS or Wipro. The maximum package you can expect is 3.5 lacs per annum. The training and placement cell tries to place each student. Hence, some startups and sales companies come with much lower packages in which you can easily get selected.

Satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: For our seniors, i.e. 2015, the placement was quite well, and 60% of our seniors got placed, among them 20% got placed in the core campus. In our batch, 55% got placed on IT campus, but core placement was very less. Even though there were many IT firms came later, and many of them got placed in those companies.

I am lucky to get this college.

Placements: The percentage of the placement is good in my college. Many well-known companies come to select the students from the campus. The minimum pointers to be eligible in the placement is 7.6. The students are offered a good post in the respective company. The minimum package is 5-6 LPA.

A helpful and trustworthy review of UEC by a UECian itself

Placements: Placement happens every year in the months of September-October. Around 70% students get selected among the shortlisted students by the TPO of the college.TCS, Wipro, and Grasim are the major recruiters since the last 2 years offering packages from 2.4 LPA to 4.2 LPA. During the session of 2017, around 60 seniors were placed in TCS in a single campus drive. No core companies recruit from here. Only TCS is the major recruiter.

Life begins in the college, and no better college to join than this

Placements: Placements are good at about 70-80%. Companies from every field come here to pick up students. Packages up to Rs. 10 lakhs are not uncommon. Sometimes, bigger companies like Infosys and the show up to pick a few lucky students. Otherwise, local and state companies pick up and employ students with benefits and paid leaves commonly.

Ujjain Engineering College is one of the best engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: Ujjain Engineering College is famous among engineering students. It gives hundreds of placement in MNCs and other reputed companies. I was a student of civil engineering, so I know more about civil engineering in comparison to other branches but placements of other branches are damn good. In civil engineering, Birla, Ultratech, D Buildcon and other companies come here to select engineers. But in my opinion, placement of CS branch is quite higher. More than 50% of the students got selected in ...

Placements: The placement records are average. They are neither too good nor too bad. Companies coming for the campus drive are TCS, Wipro, Ultratech Cement and other start-ups. The percentage of students placed was 35-40%. The average salary offered to the students was 3.3 LPA.

My college is the best college, good faculty, qualified .and knowledgeble.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch students are satisfactory. TSC and many more companies have visited my college. There are 13 students selected out of the available 30. The previous year, the maximum students got the internship from my college. Every student of my college is tension-free because we get the most important thing in our life, i.e., the knowledge.

A nice college for studying at. Satisfied with most of the things.

Placements: Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many others visit this college every year. Core companies of CS, EC, and IT visit every year too. But core companies of civil, mechanical, and electrical visit very rarely. Overall, the placement is very good as the number of students is low and the companies are many. Salary varies from 2.8 to 6.0 lakhs every year.

The quality of students is really good

Placements: Most of my batch got placed, though the companies weren't good enough. Out of 360 students, 104 got placed in TCS, 30 in Wipro and around 10 in JK Cement. Other than that, only mediocre companies came to the college. Our placements were better than the previous batch. The good thing is my junior batch's placements were much better than ours and now, our college is getting more companies every year. The average CTC of my batch was around 2.5 LPA.

It's a reputed government college with good studies and placements.

Placements: The placement scenario is good and you have very good chances of getting selected in companies like TCS and Wipro. Being one of the very few colleges in MP which have Chemical Engineering, this is a very beneficial option as you can get a chance to be selected in prestigious companies like JK. The average package that goes around is 3.5 LPA. Comparing it with other regional colleges, it's the best.

Placements: The placements are good. Every year students get placed. The placement record is 80%. Students who work hard qualify the written examination and appear for the interviews. The maximum salary package offered to students is near about 8 lakhs per annum and the minimum package offered to students is near about 3 lakhs per annum.

Brains go to some government colleges but don't get nourished as expected.

Placements: Placements were below average in our batch. Only 12% were placed. The highest salary offered was 3.6 LPA. Only TCS visited amongst the IT companies. Other companies were L&T, JK cement, etc. For our senior batch,2-3 companies came earlier but due to bad treatment and ignorance by our college management, they decided not to come again.
