It is a very good college for better future.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest salary package is 4.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Byjus, Wipro, TCS, and more. Around 60% of internships are provided in our college. The top role offered is student council secretary.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure, especially the ECE block has very good infrastructure with all the needed facilities. Maintenance of our campus surroundings is top-notch. Classrooms are good and have clean surfaces. There are labs with advanced equipment. Many food courts are available nearby but there is no hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and very helpful in clearing the doubts of the students. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. Semester exams were conducted strictly. Question paper standards depend on students. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: Our college has very good grounds to play cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, and kho-kho. Our college conducts annual sports for students.

Review of University College of Technology, Osmania University, Tarnaka.
Placements: I am a part of the placement cell, so I know the information about campus placements. At the beginning of July every year, students placement coordinators (3 from the chemical department, where each from the food department and textile departments) report to the placement director. The placement director is responsible for conducting on-campus and off-campus placements smoothly, and he will have great connections with the industries. If you are lucky, you might get an understanding placement director, and many students, especially from our batch, suffered to a great extent because of the director. So, the placement director has to provide sufficient training to students and has to conduct meetings with coordinators who are expected to inform about the progress of placements. All students need to get required training on aptitude, interviews, etc., but our college never provides it. If you are from the chemical department, you will be quite happy because there are many industries which require chemical engineers, especially for the role of a production engineer. If you are from the food department, then you can't get placements, and even you cannot ask your placement director to help you. The very important thing is you have to rely on your references, and develop your resume, enhance your profile and be confident. This is the same situation for students of the textile department. Since 2017, the number of companies (non-core) visiting our campus has steadily decreased. UCE and UCT share the same common placement cell to conduct placements. Infosys, Accenture and Wipro stopped visiting our campus. Your placement head invites companies. Since if your placement head is not much use to you, and if you are the placement coordinator, then you have to take the responsibility of inviting companies to the campus. You also have to travel, meet people, improve communication and arrange meetings. Still, you may feel discouraged because the current market provides jobs for food technology students with the highest salary of only Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month if you perform well in top MNCs. But on average, you will get a salary between Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month initially. If you want to be an entrepreneur, then you can opt for that salary. There are a lot of schemes and untapped potential, where we can be greatly useful. Even our faculty members are not up to the mark. So, I suggest companies conduct interviews at their office. We have been waiting for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college needs to be improved as it is very old. You may not like it, and you will find classrooms are bright and lacklustre.
Faculty: Professors here are well experienced, but you can't always depend on them. However, there are many resources on the internet, which will be really useful to you. Don't expect anything from teaching staff members as they just teach you things provided in the textbooks. Some might share their own experiences which could help you grow as a person. Some teachers teach absolutely well, while some are not. You have to study on your own. Classes conducted by the HOD were absolutely interesting, and he retired this year.
Other: I want to be an entrepreneur in the food industry. I kept this college name above all other options in the counselling. The best part about this course is you can enter into the industry and prepare food. You would know everything about it, and you earn money. You don't get this type of exposure if you want to get a software job. Our college organises a fest named Technosmania every year, and you'll have a lot of fun there.

I am dissatisfied as there is placements facility. Freshers need placements for a better experience.
Placements: Our college has a placement unit, but there are no placements because many students will join the company and leave before the contract ends because of the less salary package. But at least students should be provided with a chance to try and attend for placements.
Infrastructure: The course is good, and it will be interesting if we put efforts. The infrastructure of the hostel is nice. We need to adjust to the accommodation facility as they allot one room for 6-8 students. I felt it is congested. Otherwise, the hostel has a Wi-Fi facility, computer lab and study hall, which will be useful to many students.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful and qualified. Some of them are highly qualified and experienced professors. Even some are assistant professors. Our college provides practical learning also, but mostly theoretical knowledge is required. Students who are interested in theoretical and science-related subjects will surely get benefited.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do something different degree. I thought it would be interesting, and many guest lectures will be conducted here. Students participate in the fest.

It offers a good atmosphere. I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. A top recruiting company of our course is SciTech Patent Art. For fresher, roles offered are moderate, like learning while doing an internship. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. About 100% of the students got an internship in companies like V H Agro Foods Private Limited, Narmul Mother Dairy, Mail, Coco-Cola and Telangana State Food.
Infrastructure: Everything is good and available in our college. The best thing about our college is to learn practical knowledge and get experience in everything. There are many things to learn and study. Many books are available in the library. It is better, and I am satisfied with everything. It provides a wide space for playing games and sports. Medical facilities available in our college are better.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is very good. They will help and guide us in many ways for many things. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The knowledge provided by them will help students in developing and creating new things.
Other: I have chosen this course because without food there is no life and I am really very interested in learning about the science behind the food. I wish the college should provide more practical knowledge and research. Events and fests organised by the college are perfect.

Our college is somehow good but not up to the mark, so lots of changes are required.
Placements: Hardly 10% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered here varies from 2 LPA-3 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was SciTech Patent company, and the top role offered in our course is a patenting officer. Maximum all students got internships in various companies like the government sector, private, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available for all students and professors. The food served in the hostel is good, but the hostel is somewhat old. There are some electrical and hygiene issues in the hostel. For a medical check-up, there is one clinic, but they don't maintain proper medicine and equipment. Sports and games facilities are good, so they have to provide kits, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but the recruitment is not done by the university because of that we don't have professors for a proper subject. Teachers here are not according to the subject. The course curriculum is very good, and it is relevant to the industry. But there are some problems in the lab with some equipment.
Other: The basic thing is without food, we don't survive, but nowadays there is adulteration in food to control that and to provide healthy food to all the people. We try our best for that, so I selected this course. I wish that it is better to educate the students about the proper food and processed food and the value of food technologists in the world. Our college organises many events, and there will be much crowd in the university at any time. Extracurricular activities conducted here are also good. The campus surrounding is good, but there is a lot of garbage.

Admission in B.Tech food technology is based on TS EAMCET entrance exam. Admission is through web counselling based on the rank obtained in Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Entrance Test (TSEAMCET).
