It is one of the best colleges.

Placements: This college has a placements cell that works efficiently for the benefit of students. There is a good placements percentage. Around 50-75% of students are placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 10 LPA. The companies are very reputed companies offering jobs in a very good position.

Review of University College of Technology, Osmania University, Tarnaka.

Placements: Core companies will not come to our college. So, we opt for GATE to do M.Tech hoping for good placements. Core companies need B.Tech students with at least 6 months of offline internships, which is not possible in B.Tech. So, we choose to do M.Tech in IITs or NITs.

It is the best college, and I would recommend joining it.

Placements: Chemical engineering, food technology, and textile technologies are courses that would fetch good jobs with very high salary packages especially abroad. A good student who works hard could get a job in Petrofac Dubai, or Nike, or Nestle and earn a lot of money while experiencing a good lifestyle abroad. However in India, these jobs, just like all other jobs, are quite often underpaid, and opportunities are less as well. With companies like Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro coming to conduct placemen...

It is the best college, but placements are fewer.

Placements: Only 2 or 3 students got placements from core chemical engineering. About 6-7 students from the rest of the branches got placed in the IT sector. Placements are very less for a college in Osmania University. There is no proper placement cell which is a drawback of this college. Companies like Aurobindo Pharma, Infosys and ITC are recruiting a maximum of 2 students for each company and a maximum of 6-8 students from the whole batch. Internships are never mandatory in this college. You have to app...

Review of University College of Technology, Osmania University, Tarnaka.

Placements: I am a part of the placement cell, so I know the information about campus placements. At the beginning of July every year, students placement coordinators (3 from the chemical department, where each from the food department and textile departments) report to the placement director. The placement director is responsible for conducting on-campus and off-campus placements smoothly, and he will have great connections with the industries. If you are lucky, you might get an understanding placement dir...

I am dissatisfied as there is placements facility. Freshers need placements for a better experience.

Placements: Our college has a placement unit, but there are no placements because many students will join the company and leave before the contract ends because of the less salary package. But at least students should be provided with a chance to try and attend for placements.

It is a good college if you want to go forward in the textile field.

Placements: On-campus placements are less, but off-campus placements are more, so students can be placed easily. Almost 50% of the students will get placed while others go for higher studies. The starting salary offered is low, i.e., Rs. 15,000 per month, but if students have an experience of 3-4 years, then they can earn Rs. 50,000 per month. There is much scope of jobs in garment industries. The college provides compulsory internships for everyone.

It offers a good atmosphere. I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. A top recruiting company of our course is SciTech Patent Art. For fresher, roles offered are moderate, like learning while doing an internship. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Review of University College of Technology, Osmania University, Tarnaka.

Placements: Every student from our batch got internships. Some of them got paid internships, and students got placed in Reliance with a salary package of 8.5 LPA. Some students are shortlisted for Infosys, while some students got jobs in IGCAR and BARC. Most of the students are waiting to get into core fields and trying for PSUs.

Our college is somehow good but not up to the mark, so lots of changes are required.

Placements: Hardly 10% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered here varies from 2 LPA-3 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was SciTech Patent company, and the top role offered in our course is a patenting officer. Maximum all students got internships in various companies like the government sector, private, etc.

Placements: Till now, no one has been placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Companies like Accenture, ITI, Infosys, etc., recruit students. Almost 95% of the students got an internship from our course in Narmul Mother dairy, Amul and Coco-Cola industries.
