I am partially satisfied with the infrastructure and labs.

Placements: Top roles offered are biotechnologists, lab attendants, microbiologists, professors, and R&D. Companies can be a major choice, and entrepreneurship can also be chosen. The placement system should need improvement. Internships are given to students who have a CGPA of 7 or above.

It had good placements till 2015.

Placements: About 50%-60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA to 3.6 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Recruiters are Embitel Technology, Indus Valley Partners, Bebo Technology, etc. Our curriculum does not include internships. Top roles are not offered in our course.

UIET, Kurukshetra University, is not a good university.

Placements: There are around 150 students in CSE every year. The rate of placements is very low. Not more than 20% of students get placement. Companies that come here are the mass recruiters, which give a very low salary package of 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest campus placement package was 9 LPA from Infosys. Infosys and Wipro are the main recruiters. Only two students out of 83 in our batch got internships. The top role offered in our course is junior developer.

Our college doesn't provide good placements for mechanical.

Placements: Placements in UIET, KUK are below average for mechanical but placements are good for computer science engineering. In our batch, hardly 2-3 students out of 70 got placed. Adani Gas and Bosch are the top recruiting companies for mechanical engineering in UIET, KUK. Even internships are not much good.

It is a good institute with all facilities.

Placements: Infosys company recruit many students from our institute. Many companies visit our college for on-campus placements with good salary packages. About 70% of students got full-time jobs as a software engineers.

Overall, the college is not bad but hope it gets better.

Placements: As I am in the second year of B.Tech, I am worried about the placements because I am from Afghanistan and I do not know how many students got placements in the last years but overall it is good. The problem for this university is its location because Kurukshetra is an underdeveloped place.

Above average college with good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements in the CSE branch of the college is decent but placements for other branches are not good, very few companies come for on-campus placements in other branches. Some well-known companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Come for placements. The average placement is 4-5 Lacs.

It is a decent college with average placements and average teaching staff members.

Placements: Placements in our college are not up to the mark. Only a few companies like Inforce, Yamaha, and Daffodil visit our college for placements. Most of the students do not get placed, but about 30-40% of students get placed. You need to work hard to get a job off-campus.

Not satisfied. ROI is not good. Mostly students are interesting because it's a government college.

Placements: The ROI is not good for this college as only 40% of the students are placed in ME course. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Regarding internships, they provide but not to everyone. Many students do an internship outside.

Review of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra University.

Placements: Students of CSE and ECE branches in the college were provided with good placements, but students of biotechnology and mechanical branch were not given good placements. I hope the college provides better placements to students as Kurukshetra University is known to be one of the finest universities in Haryana. Otherwise, you have to find jobs o your own after completing the course.

Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable in theoretically aspects but not up to the mark practically.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark as expected but overall I can say it's good but not the best. Few students were placed around 40 as many students were not allowed to sit for placement due to the fairgrounds in one or more subject and CGPA less than 6.5. The companies that visit our campus include Infosys, Wipro, IBM etc. Mostly the students are placed in Wipro and infosys only. Infosys basically they are first recruited for the classroom training. Many of the students took off campus placement...

Good placements, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: There are good placements for the CS department, and a few good companies come for mechanical as well. CS companies include Infosys, Wipro, IBM, etc. Mechanical companies are IOAGPL, Asahi glass, etc. There are no specific companies for electronics and communication students, but they also get recruited by IT companies.

Overall, our college is above average.

Placements: Around 4-5 companies namely Adani, Infosys, Wipro, Vivo, Lava, etc., visit our campus for the placements. Recently Samsung has also recruited some of the students. So, the placements are average and are dependent upon skills and hard work of the students. The average package offered is 3.5LPA.

Kurukshetra University review.

Placements: Regular placements are available in the campus. Most reputed organisations come for recruitment of the students. The eligibility criteria is to clear all the previous semesters. In mechanical, most of the students go for core mechanical. Also, there is scope to change your profession.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. No good placements are there.

Placements: Nothing, as not a single core company visits here and same with our Senior batch. 20% -30% in either BPO or Sales job. The lowest package is 2 Lacs pa and the highest package is 3.5 Lacs pa. Salesmen roles are offered to the students. For internship around 10-15% got from the college.

An average rates college where you can build your future only if you plan to study (get good grades)

Placements: Being a semi-government college, the placements are not so bad. As usually either Tier 1 colleges get good placements or private colleges but here in UIET KuK also if you are studying properly then one can get placed in big MNCs like Infosys, Wipro etc. Every year UIET is increasing the placement, should become good enough in upcoming years.

It is a nice college but can be better.

Placements: Around 4-5 companies like Infosys, Wipro, Adani visit each year with an average package of 3-4 LPA. Each company recruit around 25 students, so placement depends upon the calibre and talent of students. So students must perform hard to get jobs in campus placements.

Good placements are provided in 2017 and 2018. Good environment is there to study.

Placements: Placements are good for the computer science, electronics and mechanical streams. But are little less for biotechnology branch. Many companies visited for other streams than biotechnology. There is a placement cell in the college. The highest package offered in the campus placements was 4.40 LPA, given by Vadani Gas Ltd to mechanical engineering students. Around 30% students have been placed till now.

The college is good. Nice environment. All facilities. Nice faculty.

Placements: The placement was not good at that time, but now it is improving year by year. The students are getting placed now. The campus is taking care positively. Companies have started visiting the campus in the recent years. Even biotechnology students are getting placed in good companies. I have to say, the college is growing day by day and will be one of the best in Haryana in future.
