One of a lifetime experience .

Placements: Our college did not have a placement cell when we got our admissions, and mostly their approach is preparing students for litigation or government exams. Our college offers a one-month compulsory internship in the final year and optional internships during summer break, but they place you with quality advocates of the high court.

Really good facilitators if one which ones wishers to fig deep into concepts .

Placements: I am not sure of exact percentage but yes, a student has to find out good opening himself/ herself. The college does have a career cell that is working robustly for internships and placements. However the institute has a prominent place in selection of students for judiciary exam.

Campus and hostel life in our university are good.

Placements: About 5-7% of students got placed, which is not up to the mark. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Very few students got internships in companies. Roles are offered in judiciary, arbitration, etc.

I am satisfied with environment, infrastructure, skill development, and connectivity.

Placements: Around 10 - 20% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top role offered is a legal officer. Top recruiting companies are government and non-governmental organisations. Almost 60% of students got internships in high courts and district courts.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements are totally based on your CV. The more you participate in internships, the more the chances of placements. However, there are few placements in PU compared to other private colleges. Placements also differ according to your department.

Review of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University.

Placements: The career development cell of UILS deals with placement offers and internships. The aim of the career development cell of the university has always been to provide a conducive environment for the all-round professional growth of students by providing them with the best internship opportunities, skill development sessions and placement opportunities with consultancy firms, renowned law firms and litigation chambers based in Delhi and Chandigarh. In the year 2020, CDC was successful in securing i...

There are good faculty members, but placements are not as good as expected.

Placements: Most of the students get jobs through our college placement cell named career development cell. Companies like KPMG, SS Rana, AKB Lex, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA. The course is good, and teaching is really appreciable.

Not satisfied with placements, really good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Very less students got placed. Companies from the Chandigarh as well as from other cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, also come for placements. Very established law firms of Chandigarh and big companies of Delhi take part in the placement process. It takes place every year.

University Institute of legal studies - for those who want all around development.

Placements: There is less scope for on-campus placements until now. However, the department is working on the placement cell. However, you have many opportunities to enhance your CV for any job in the corporate sector through individual placements. Currently, there are hardly any placements from the department itself. The best college for the judicial service preparation.

The environment is excellent but contains some pros and cons. But it is fun here

Placements: The placements are provided by the department are undermarked as there are not many firms that pay a visit to the department but the department provides a lot of opportunities to grow. Moots that includes national, intra-department, etc. Regarding the percentage of the internship, according to a senior, it is quite low. Last year, some around 12 students filed for an internship out of 200 students and the rest depends on you. The information is not 100% authentic and as based on hearsay evidence...

The college is worth the value but needs improvement in fields like industrial exposure and infra.

Placements: The placements are not so good in the current and the senior batch as well. About 50% of the students are placed. The highest salary is 6 lacs and the average is 2.5 lacs. Companies visiting the campus are Reliance Industries, Airtel Industries and some real estate companies. The roles offered are a legal advisor, consultant, etc.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The Career Development Cell works on placement opportunities for UILS students and better internship opportunities since it is a self-financed and well-reputed institution. It is the dream of most students who want to pursue law to join this college.

It is a government college, so everything is great.

Placements: Our college is not good in placements, and there is a total of 180 seats. Mostly government courts are in charge of placements of government colleges. I think you should join this college because, in law, placements do not matter, and students own personalities matter. So, I suggest you do not consider the placements.

Decent in its entirety.

Placements: Internship cell is available. Almost everyone gets placed for that. Placements are also available, however most of the people end up going for litigation or preparing for judicial services. KPMG is one of the recruiters that place students from UILS.
