One of a lifetime experience .
Placements: Our college did not have a placement cell when we got our admissions, and mostly their approach is preparing students for litigation or government exams. Our college offers a one-month compulsory internship in the final year and optional internships during summer break, but they place you with quality advocates of the high court.
Infrastructure: Our college is considered to be the most prestigious in Punjab for the LL.B. degree, and its infrastructure is quite okay. Its classrooms do not have AC; that's the only drawback. Otherwise, the libraries and computer lab are good. The college provides free Wi-Fi to students, and its speed is quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, and great emphasis is given to understanding concepts. Exams are not that tough but are based on conceptual knowledge. One important thing I came to know is that our college, compared to others, covers all major subjects and topics that other colleges do not cover.
Other: It organises various events and fests and has many societies so you will be able to explore various ventures.

Really good facilitators if one which ones wishers to fig deep into concepts .
Placements: I am not sure of exact percentage but yes, a student has to find out good opening himself/ herself. The college does have a career cell that is working robustly for internships and placements. However the institute has a prominent place in selection of students for judiciary exam.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, Wi-Fi facility is there. There is definitely a minor of hygiene in the department. The library is well-equipped, with access to almost all the major research website. The hostels are very old and so are being renovated. Food and mess is good.
Faculty: The teachers teach passionate and encourage discussion. Most of the teachers are very knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are pretty good. They are not difficult even if you work seriously for one month, they are easy to sail through.
Other: Law was something which fascinated me from the very beginning. The best thing is that teachers are very friendly and understanding. Extra activities especially sports should be made compulsory.

College experience at the University Institute of Legal Studies.
Placements: There aren't many placement drives in our college; only the career development office occasionally notifies students about government and private unpaid internships. However, students who diligently dedicate themselves often secure off-campus placements in reputable companies like Luthra and Luthra, Shradul and Anmarchand law firms. The primary focus for many students here is to strive for a government job.
Infrastructure: The department offers only educational facilities, and the washrooms are not maintained very well. The Wi-Fi works adequately, and the classrooms meet the required standards. The department's library provides books that students can borrow using their library cards. The hostels at Panjab University are reasonably priced, but the quality of the hostel canteens varies. There's a gymnasium hall where most indoor intercollegiate events take place, and a large ground where sports enthusiasts gather for practice every morning and evening.
Faculty: The teachers in our university are highly qualified in their respective fields. Some have more than 20 years of experience and possess extensive knowledge in their subjects. However, some teachers are on a contractual basis. While the courses provide educational experiences, they do not make students industry-ready. To achieve that, students must engage in internships, moots, debates, and, if aspiring for judiciary or UPSC, utilize the renowned AC Joshi library for preparation. Overall, the university environment is conducive for those preparing for government exams.
Other: One improvement I wish for is the teaching methodology of our professors. Sometimes, they favor certain individuals for personal reasons, leading to unnecessary bias. A word of advice: do not provoke any ill feelings as it might adversely affect your academics. Several students in our semester faced consequences and were not promoted due to such issues. I chose law because becoming a lawyer was always my lifelong goal. I was captivated by the complexities of law. During the initial semester, selections occur, which are crucial experiences for every student. The connections made during this time prove beneficial in one's career as an advocate. In the following semester, various departmental fests take place, extending from February to April before the exams commence. The university, with almost 80 departments, always has something happening, ensuring no room for boredom.

Good college, satisfied, will definitely recommend.
Placements: 60 percent placement in reputed companies with good packages. There is a guarantee that people with skills and initiative will get placement. Most of the students get good packages ranging in lakhs, and others do crack a number of exams like judiciary and UPSC.
Infrastructure: Capacious library with good interior; it is two-storeyed with capacity and different kinds of books full of knowledge. It has computers which are helpful for online studying, and even hostels are very capacious. The mess is brilliant with good food and timings.
Faculty: Syllabus completed on time. Teachers and faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. Always there to guide and motivate. Even the students and seniors are very cooperative and kind. They will make you feel like home and you will learn a lot here.

Review of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University.
Placements: In our college, there are no placements. They are now trying to establish a placement cell for UILS.
Infrastructure: It's a very old building but they are constantly renovating it. There are new blocks for new students. There are no smart classes. There are simple blackboards in calssrooms. There are no air-conditioners. Our bathrooms are old.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent, extremely experienced, friendly, and helpful. They are intelligent and well-known throughout the city. The curriculum is vast. The end-of-semester exams are challenging and the passing percentage is 33%.

The college is quite good and have a great crowd.
Placements: Last year more than 35% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is about 15 LPA, the lowest is around 4 LPA, and the average is 6 to 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Aaj Tak, The Times of India etc. We have a good placement and internship cell at our college.
Infrastructure: Amazing, phenomenal, The campus and the labs and Library are very well-equipped with the best A-class facilities, including hands-on experience with each and every gadget, the medical department is one of the biggest in the college and the Wi-Fi facility is also great.
Faculty: The curriculum for my course was relevant to some extent because there wasn't much practical exposure or any internship provisions for last year's students. Other than that the faculty is great, putting a lot of effort into debating a situation or theory. My course doesn't allow us to be industry ready but yes the overall experience has been good & learned a lot.
