PU UGLAW 2025 Counselling: Seat Allotment, Registration, Procedure

The PU UGLAW Counselling 2025 will be conducted after the release of PU UGLAW Merit list 2025. Panjab University first released a tenative merit list. Then, it releases a provisional or final merit list for PU UGLAW. The PU UGLAW provisional merit list 2025 has also been released. PU UGLAW 2025 counselling is held completely offline. Here is how the counselling process works:

First, the PU UGLAW result is announced. The candidates who qualify the PU UGLAW 2025 cutoff marks are placed in the preliminary merit list.

Second, candidates whose name is placed in the preliminary merit list have to fill in the online PU UGLAW 2025 admission form.

Third, the candidates who complete and submit the online admission form in time, are considered in the final merit list. The final merit list shall have the name of the candidates eligible for counselling. The names shall be available rank wise in the list.

Fourth, PU then releases the counselling schedule. In the counselling schedule, the candidates are grouped rank wise and are called for physical reporting for admission. Each group is called on different dates. 

The candidates who have their names on the final merit list have to submit a duly filled PU UGLAW 2025 admission form. The form is made available online at the official website of PU UGLAW. Once the candidate has submitted the online form, any change in it including category shall not be allowed later on.

In the admission form, every candidate must indicate their category for which they want to apply. If the category is not mentioned in the form, the candidate shall be considered for the General Category only.

PU UGLAW 2025 counselling is held at the following centres:

• UILS, PU Chandigarh  for all categories
• UILS, PU Chandigarh for all reserved categories
• UIL, PURC Ludhiana  for the general and reserved categories
• UILS, PUSSGRC, HSP for the general and reserved categories

If after the PU UGLAW counselling based on the final merit list, seats remain vacant, then those seats will be available for candidates on the waiting list. Subsequent counsellings are declared from time to time subject to the declaration of vacant seats within the prescribed University admission schedule with prior approval of DUI. 

Certain things must be noted related to the PU UGLAW counselling, such as:

• All those candidates who attend the counselling are requested to mark their attendance. 
• The candidate selected for admission will be required to deposit the original certificates and pay the prescribed fees.
• The candidate shall attend the counselling for admission at their own risk, expense and responsibility. 
• Admission in all categories shall be made subject to fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.

At the time of admission, candidates have to pay the fees. If the fee is not paid, the admission shall be cancelled. The fee Structure of UILS, Chandigarh, UIL, PURC, Ludhiana and UILS, SSGPURC Hoshiarpur for the first year is as follows:

The mode of payment of the fee will be notified at the time of counselling.
