B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025

My perspective on UIT RGPV.
Placements: The placement of this college is okay. 50% of students are placed here. Most of the IT students get placed in good companies, but few core companies visit. Most of the students from core branches take placements in IT companies and shift to the IT field.
Infrastructure: There are four boys' hostels and two girls' hostels in this college. The hostel fee is very minimal, 400 rupees per month. Wi-Fi, common water coolers, common geysers, and common washrooms are available. The college infrastructure is very beautiful; you will love it. It has a very big campus.
Faculty: In this college, some of the teachers are permanent, some are guest faculty, and some are Ph.D. scholars. They have very good teaching skills. There are two semesters each year and a total of eight semesters in the course. Three mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam are conducted here. The main exam is worth 105 marks. The exam paper is not very hard; you can pass it easily.
Other: Campus life is very good. You can enjoy the campus view and its beauty. Students come from different cultures, and you can learn a lot of new things from them.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2024

I am very happy to complete my B.Tech in this college.
Placements: 70-80 percent of students were placed in my college. 14 lacs is the highest package in my college, and the lowest package was 4.5 lacs. LnT, Jindal Group, and Tata are the top recruiting companies in my course. 60-70% of students have got internships at Bansal Company and Tata Group. Top roles offered are site engineer, project manager, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was good and big, so attractive and student-friendly. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are also available. The canteen was good and hygienic. College facilities were very good. The college dress was good. The canteen is clean and also provides a lot of food items.
Faculty: The teachers were very qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was very good. The semester exam was not difficult because of the teachers. The semester exam was very simple because of the teacher and his teaching style. Teachers behavior was very good.
Other: I am joining this course because of my passion for infrastructure and building making. Events and projects are there.

My college journey of engineering .
Placements: My college has a very poor placement ratio because of their disgusting placement cell; their are no responsible people who take initiative for student future. The only placement that happens in my college in my batch is 2.4 lacs per year, which is very low for an engineering student.
Infrastructure: The college has a library that has books in multiple languages, courses, & authors that are useful for us to grow our knowledge & build a strong base for the upcoming future. There are some game rooms also with normal games, like table tennis and carrom. There is no place for sports.
Faculty: Teachers will be very helpful. In my college, the passing percentage is 40%; it can be achievable for those students who are having some seriousness for their future & who want to become successful.
Other: On my college campus, there is a very good & amazing atmosphere for a student. Because of the student & faculty behavior, everyone wants to stay here.

University Institute of technology RGPV in 2024
Placements: In mechanical branch there is less possibility of getting campus selection so you need to prepare for government exams . Other than mechanical branch college placement is very many companies come to college for campus selection like TCS, Wipro, Honda, and many more companies.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. There are separate building for separate branches with advance labs in unit. There is a huge sports complex in college for sports. There is a knowledge resource center for using computers for your knowledge. You can access computers with free wifi there.
Faculty: College faculty is very experienced. They support you in every aspects for your higher studies, sports and knowledge. There are two or more teachers for a particular subjects. There are three mid semester, a quiz, practical and final semester exam in a particular semester.

All you need to know about UIT-RGPV, Bhopal.
Placements: I was enrolled in B.Tech in Information Technology at UIT-RGPV, Bhopal. The intake for this course is 60, and the placements are decent. Top recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Opensense Labs, Appointy, and Persistent Systems. The highest package offered in 2023 was 14 LPA by EQ Technologies. The average package offered here is 3.5 LPA, and about 60% of the students get placed in decent companies.
Infrastructure: The college has a vast campus, and the labs and classrooms are well-equipped. The library is one of the largest in central India and offers a plethora of books to choose from. You can borrow books by getting a library card issued. The hostels are new and clean. The mess food is decent, and the hostel is very affordable at just Rs. 6000 per year. There is a sports complex in the college offering games like badminton, table tennis, and basketball.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They can help you particularly with your research work. They are good at teaching and providing guidance. The course curriculum is not very relevant, as it has more subjective subjects than practical subjects, but overall the course is decent and does offer some industry-level knowledge. Semester exams are moderately tough and can be easily cracked by practicing previous year's questions. Almost everyone is able to pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course and college because it has a good ROI. The fees are very affordable, and placements are decent. There is no 75% attendance criteria, allowing you to prepare for other competitive exams. Events and fests are not held anymore because the cultural fest community is inactive. The campus crowd is decent, and a lot of scholarships are available for the students here.

I am not very satisfied with my college because of the placement and college facilities.
Placements: Despite being touted as a strong selling point for our college, the placement process falls disappointingly short in several key areas. First, the overall placement rate is not nearly as high as the college advertises. Many students in my batch were left without job offers even by the end of the final semester, causing stress and uncertainty about their future. Additionally, the few placements that are secured often come with entry-level packages that barely meet industry standards. The average package is much lower than what the college promises, and only a handful of students receive attractive offers from reputable companies.
Infrastructure: Average college hostel scene. Our college does not have good facilities in the hostel, and cleanliness is poor. The college hostel fee is 6000 per annum, and the mess food is very pathetic and tasteless. However, the college hostel is very affordable.
Faculty: There are many useless college teachers who do not even know how to teach. All of them are Ph.D. holders, and they just help the students pass. All the teachers have only two to three years of experience. But some teachers are too good, with a lot of experience and knowledge of their subjects.
Other: Currently, I am doing B.Tech in AIML, and my college fee is 40,000 per semester. In every semester, there are five subjects and one additional language subject. The college is good as far as fees are concerned.
