B.E in Automobile Engineering - Batch of 2017

Infrastructure and faculty are good. In 2017, the placements were average.
Placements: Placements in the college are average. In our batch, around 250 students got placed in TCS with the salary package of 3.68 LPA. Trident company hired six students from the mechanical branch and offered the salary package of 6 LPA. Roles offered to placed students are graduate engineer trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough with all accessories including labs for every branch. There is a synchronised library for students, and it operates automatically with the library card. Different departments like electronic, electrical, mechanical, and civil have seminars which include career guidance. There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls with good food services. The canteen in the college provides all the varieties of snacks according to seasons. There is a playground in the college, and annual sports meet is organised in that playground.
Faculty: Faculty members are very inspiring and helpful when needed. They provide us with proper guidance and support. For events like Baja and Supra, we get sponsorship from college. HOD of every department is very supportive of the students. All the faculty members are either PhD holders or M.Tech holders from reputed college like IITs or NITs.

Dissatisfied because of placements, facilities, good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement was less than average, and only some students got placed with an average package of 3.5 LPA. In our batch, the highest package was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.8 LPA. The companies like TCS, Zycus, Capgemini were there. Only for CS/IT branch companies and no core companies were there. O% got the internship from the college. There is placement cell, but no one is concerned about it. They are not utilitarian, efficient and effective.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are average, and everything is there, but it's not been used efficiently. The quality of lab is not good for mechanical, and automobile department as instruments are not there. The food available in the canteen is not up to the mark & is not worthy. The hostel rooms are good. There are no infrastructure problems.
Faculty: The teachers were good, and quality is up to mark of some teachers. Only and permanent faculty are not okay. Subjective method is used, and there is no adaptive mode. The faculty-student ratio is 1:7. There is no industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful, and student efforts were much as compared to other resources.
Other: The events and fests are average.

Review of RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: Only a few companies visit here for placements. I would not recommend to anyone. Only 20% of the students were placed this year, and the previous year, about 15% of the students were selected. Scope of the automobile is increasing nowadays, so it will be a good choice. Placements for CS and IT students are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with a hill view. There are tourist spots near the college. Sports activity is poor here. Buildings are red in colour. The canteen is decent. The library is good. Classrooms are very good with ergonomic chair, air-conditioners, and projectors.
Faculty: All the exams are conducted on time. Various activities are also there. Even the fee structure is very low, i.e., around Rs. 30,000 per year, including bus charge. If you get a scholarship, then you can pay the fee through it. Even the hostel facility is very good, and one person stays in one room with Rs. 25,000 yearly, including the mess charges.
