Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BBA students at Maharani College?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the success rate of the placement cell at Maharani College is moderate. Here's what they had to say:

* Around 10% of the students got placed, with salaries ranging from INR20,000 to INR40,000 per month.
* Some students reported that the placement cell is "very efficient" and helps secure jobs for students.
* However, others felt that the placement opportunities are limited, and top recruiting companies do not visit the campus.
* One student noted that the college does not provide direct internships, but some organizations come for campus recruitment.
* Another student mentioned that around 150 students got placed in their course, indicating that the placement cell is somewhat effective.

Overall, while the placement cell appears to be making efforts to secure jobs for students, the success rate could be improved. It seems that students need to rely on other means, such as seeking out job openings independently, to find employment after graduating.

My college review- Maharani College, Jaipur.
Placements: Students from our college get good placements. But, packages offered are not attractive. Students get recruitment in courses in BCA, M.Com, etc. I am a B.Com student who passed out in the year 2024. I did not get any placement till now. I have to pursue another course for recruitment.
Infrastructure: We encounter so much greenery and positive vibes all around the campus. Labs are well-maintained. Also, we get proper ID cards for the library. Classrooms are good but not the furniture. Sports complex of the campus is spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful during the exams. They help in course completion promptly. They provide good notes with pointers and keywords, which make us easily learn with good memory techniques. Teachers are also helpful during the entire session. The pass percentage of this college is 80%.
Other: The college organises many events which help in the co-curricular development of the student. Students who cannot afford the fees of the college get many scholarships. I suggest students take admission here.

The university is good for students and makes them strong and knowledgeable.
Placements: Many courses are not getting placements, and 3% of students get placements from this course. The lowest package is 3 lacs and the highest is 7 to 8 lacs. 5% percent of students get internships in many roles, just like accountant, assistant manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels have very good conditions, all facilities are available for students, and every necessary thing is available for those who need it, and specifically, hostels feel very comfortable and have available Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and every festival organisation for students.
Faculty: Faculty are very good, and teachers are very nice and helpful. Here, teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable, and all teachers are very qualified. This course is very curriculum relevant, and yes, it's making the students industry-ready, and the exams are not very hard.
Other: There are available canteen facilities and library facilities, as well as sports clubs, drama clubs, and universities that arrange many festival events, seminars, and programs for students.

I'm partly satisfied with the college.
Placements: Percentage depends on the course and cutoffs. The average package provided by placements at this college is decent, but not every student gets it. Only those who are interested manage to secure internships in average companies, but not at the level of top and well-known companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, and the labs are also well-equipped. However, the classrooms are very small. There are no mess or canteen facilities available on campus, but the college hostel is affordable and located nearby. The library is present but quite far from the classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and great in their field, but the program does not fully prepare students to be industry-ready. Semester examinations vary in difficulty based on how students prepare; sometimes they are difficult, and sometimes they are very easy, depending on the students' efforts.
Other: The best thing about the college is the extracurricular activities, including sports events and programs, along with scholarship opportunities. It is a good college primarily for lower-middle-income students, making it affordable.

Our campus life is good.
Placements: Our college provides placement opportunities. Almost all students get placed in well reputed companies. Many renowned companies visit our college to recruit students. The course curriculum is good. The highest salary package offered is 5lakhs. The average salary package is low compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides all facilities. The hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is not much good. Separate hostel available for both boys and girls. The system for granting leaves was not good. Overall, was good. Our college provides excellent infrastructure. There are a lot of sitting areas with park and grounds. A basketball court is available. Many sports are available.
Faculty: The exam system is good. Teachers almost give you and idea of the important topics from which you will get maximum marks. You must maintain your attendance at more than 75% you will be detained for that subject and must attend extra summer classes to cover it. Our teachers are good and cooperative, the alumni network also plays an active role in mentoring and guiding current students, providing valuable insights into the professional world. While maharani University placements, efforts to improve and expand industry collaborations will further enhance the scope of opportunities for future graduates.
Other: The University organises various events for the students so that they enjoy. Many stars are invited to the University for the maharani. Our college very good. I opted for this course because of my interest in placements.

University Maharani College review.
Placements: There is no placement scope, I don't think so. There are no companies coming for placements. My course's top roles are in the banking field, accounting, and finance. There is no placement or internship cell in the college, and no paid internships here. You'll need to find one for yourself.
Infrastructure: Yes, my college hostel provides good quality food and proper cleanliness. The faculty, sports facilities, and sports faculty are really great, and games such as football, cricket, badminton, and many more are played in our university. The mess is good, the quality is good, and the food is good too.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful; they teach in a good way for small understanding. Yes, this course is relevant for me. It's neither too difficult nor too easy. The passing percentage of my university is 48%. Semesters are tough, but if you study hard, you'll pass.
Other: I chose this because I want to go into the banking and finance field. This course is practical, so I like it. I want to improve in my course, obviously, my teachers.

A:
{Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Programs at Maharani College

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Maharani College is:

* Limited: Most students agree that there is no dedicated placement cell specifically for B.A. students. The college does not provide on-campus placements, and students need to find internships and job opportunities on their own.
* Average: While the college does organize internships and provides career counseling, these efforts are not exclusive to B.A. students, and the outcome varies from student to student.
* No special treatment: According to some reviewers, there is no special treatment for B.A. students when it comes to placements. Students need to compete for opportunities along with students from other streams (BBA and BSc).

Here are some quotes from students and alumni that summarize their experience:

"The placement chances for our course are really less in any college. I don't know whether there is even a placement cell for arts students." - Student
"Our college does not provide placements for B.A students. Almost 70% of students get placed in our college, but it's only for BBA and BSc students." - Alumni
"I don't know whether there is even a placement cell for arts students in our college. We have to arrange internships and placements ourselves." - Student

Overall, while the college does provide some assistance with internships and career counseling, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Maharani College is limited, and students need to take initiative to secure job opportunities themselves.

* No Internship Program: There is no internship programme available for B.Com students at the college.
