It was the best college in 2020.
Placements: The placement percentage of students in the course was good. The minimum and the maximum salary packages were also good. The highest salary package offered was about 90 LPA and the lowest salary package was about 5 LPA. Top-class companies recruited students from our course. Best roles were offered in the course. About 60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library were good and well-maintained. The library is open 24x7. Classrooms were average. The food served in the canteen was delicious and hygienic. I liked the food. Medical and sports facilities were good. Games are organised every week.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They were helpful. They treated students like their own children. The course curriculum was relevant to the industry. Semester exams were difficult, but our teachers helped us.
Other: I liked everything on campus but not the campus crowd.

I'm dissatisfied with the infrastructure, technology, teaching, and guidance.
Placements: Our college has rare or no placements at all. Although we have all the courses, the college still lacks some facilities. Our college doesn't provide any internships or events for students. Teachers pay no attention to students. There is no proper guidance.
Infrastructure: Our college has poor technology. We have non-air-conditioning and bad classrooms. The college provides no necessary facilities. There is a canteen in the college but it has not started. The infrastructure is so bad that all the classrooms are so boring. Even in summer, fans are not working properly.
Faculty: Teachers are less interested in teaching. Classes are not held according to the timetable. Teachers are not coming on time, and there are no proper instructions regarding anything. Teachers are busy with their file work and, because of that, they are unable to take classes regularly on time.
Other: Our college should hold psychology clubs and regular events.

Not so satisfied because of faculty, placements, and average infrastructure.
Placements: A maximum of 70 students are placed in our batch; the highest package would be 50k, and the minimum would be 10k. Very few recruiting companies are visiting. Very few percent of students get internships. The top roles offered in psychology are clinical psychology, occupational therapy, organizational psychology, and psychiatrists.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, with libraries, average labs, and classrooms that are tiny with no Wi-Fi availabilities. The quality of food is also average; there is no mess but a canteen; medical facilities are not so good, but above average in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is not very good. The course curriculum is totally relevant and does make them ready for the future. The semester exams are not so hard, but the passing percentage is 60%. It also depends on the year, of course.

The fee is low, but the teaching quality is not up to the mark.
Placements: I am a humanities student, the placements are not provided. It's only available for BBA and B.Com students. But as far as I know, around 20 students were placed in Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services during college placements. Not many internships and placements are provided by college. Students have to arrange them on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The college is well-equipped with computer labs, library etc. There's no provision of free Wi-Fi, and the washrooms are very filthy. Sports facilities in our college are amazing, but not every student gets to be a part of it.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, but they don't teach regularly. We don't get regular updates about dates of vacations and exams. The management is poor, although. The college is one of the best colleges in Rajasthan.
Other: I chose this course because psychology is a lucrative career option these days. I think teachers should be more regular with teaching. Overall, the college organizes fests, and a lot of extracurricular activities are also conducted.

As it is a government college, it holds a valuable degree.
Placements: The placements offered by our college are above average. Students get placed in government companies also. Apollo, Fortis Hospitals, etc., offer placements. About 90% of students got internships. About 85% of students in our course were placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college include Wi-Fi, labs such as biology, psychology etc. It has music rooms, libraries, and classrooms. The quality of food is good and hygienic. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and supportive. They bring the best out of you, and they are well qualified in their respective courses. The curriculum is updated and is relevant. The exams are held at the end of the year, and they are not so difficult.
Other: B.A. hons. psychology is definitely a good course. The teachers in our course are supportive.

Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BBA students at Maharani College?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the success rate of the placement cell at Maharani College is moderate. Here's what they had to say:

* Around 10% of the students got placed, with salaries ranging from INR20,000 to INR40,000 per month.
* Some students reported that the placement cell is "very efficient" and helps secure jobs for students.
* However, others felt that the placement opportunities are limited, and top recruiting companies do not visit the campus.

* Another student mentioned that around 150 students got placed in their course, indicating that the placement cell is somewhat effective.

Overall, while the placement cell appears to be making efforts to secure jobs for students, the success rate could be improved. It seems that students need to rely on other means, such as seeking out job openings independently, to find employment after graduating.

A:
{Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Programs at Maharani College

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Maharani College is:

* Limited: Most students agree that there is no dedicated placement cell specifically for B.A. students. The college does not provide on-campus placements, and students need to find internships and job opportunities on their own.
* Average: While the college does organize internships and provides career counseling, these efforts are not exclusive to B.A. students, and the outcome varies from student to student.
* No special treatment: According to some reviewers, there is no special treatment for B.A. students when it comes to placements. Students need to compete for opportunities along with students from other streams (BBA and BSc).

Here are some quotes from students and alumni that summarize their experience:

"The placement chances for our course are really less in any college. I don't know whether there is even a placement cell for arts students." - Student
"Our college does not provide placements for B.A students. Almost 70% of students get placed in our college, but it's only for BBA and BSc students." - Alumni
"I don't know whether there is even a placement cell for arts students in our college. We have to arrange internships and placements ourselves." - Student

Overall, while the college does provide some assistance with internships and career counseling, the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. programs at Maharani College is limited, and students need to take initiative to secure job opportunities themselves.
