Satisfied with the faculty but not administration.

Placements: In this course, they don't offer you placements but the internship is mandatory which is done and applied for by the students only. The placements are only for the degree courses and not for the Diploma courses. There is a lack of practical knowledge as no support is provided from the University for internships.

It is a very good college.

Placements: There are no placements in our course. If students want a degree, then they can prefer this college. Otherwise, there is no benefit.

It's the best for students who can't afford high fees.

Placements: Open Schools don't provide any placement facilities, so students need to look for their jobs on their own. It is an open university that does not provide placement options to its students. The students can take the guidance of their professors only.

Average placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: You don't have to worry about placements, after fifth semester you will have to go for internship with a reputed company for which you will also get stipend also and after that, companies will come to university to conduct interviews for placements. The big companies that visited the campus were Concentrix, Tech Mahindra, Teleperformance, Amazon, Nokia and Bharti Airtel etc. The average package is around 1.8 Lacs per annum and the highest went to 2.5 Lacs.

PU according to me is good choice as I have studied there & I have never faced an issue.

Placements: Many of the Students were placed. In Panjab University there is a separate department for handling placements of students. Job fest is organised there in which various companies arrive in order to select students. And students too take part in it. Companies like wipro, Infosys, tata, etc. In interview round individual, group, stress, situation interviews are conducted. Salaries offered are in range 15k-30k to a freshers.

Student query handling cell needs improvement.

Placements: Being correspondence studies there was no option of placements. I think the department should do efforts to place the students in different companies etc. So that they don't face any difficulty in getting a job after correspondence studies. It would raise the thinking of people that there is no big difference in regular and correspondence studies.

I love the college and I love my colleagues.

Placements: There were very few placements. And some of my friends attended some placements buy they didn't qualify for that. They were taking placements either on exams days or last. It was almost our end of the semester when they thought to go with placements but till then we were not prepared enough.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Almost 60 to 70% of the students got placed. The fee charged for 6 months is Rs. 14,000, which is a lower price like school, college and other companies. Minimum 60% of students got internships. Placements are good for students. I suggest others join our college to make your life better.

The students have the best campus life at Panjab University.

Placements: The internships are provided by the college. More than half of the students get away with placements. I don't know much about what companies come or what are the top courses offered on the campus but the faculty is really something worth appreciating.
