Placements: This is a private university which is operated by some corporate businessmen. The placement cell authorities are very rude. They do not behave well with final year students, and the placement scenario is average, and many companies used to come at the time of placements but the maximum package offered by them was 3 LPA, and the minimum package was 1.8 LPA.
Placements: There was probably 75% to 85% of placements in the previous year. That is, in the year 2016 to 2017. It is said that the remaining students weren't placed because they wanted to pursue their higher studies. They have an entire team of faculty, just arranged to look into the child's placement from the 4th year.
Placements: The placement for my batch was really below expectations. There were no core companies. The core companies which visited were also of a startup level and not experienced. The place com was more interested in pushing students towards the general companies such as IT, Market Research and Sales firms. After spending a hefty amount, the candidates don't expect such lame returns. ROI is hardly there.
Average Campus. Average Food. Average Placement. No Playground to play football but a basketball court is there. Roads are not up to the mark. Faculty Members, some are good and some are bad. Overall an average College. The Management is also average. There are two campuses. One at Bidoli and one at Kandoli.
The good aspects are - The College is working towards improving its Placement process and extra-curricular activities like Moots and PDs which are important for the overall development of a Law student. The bad aspects are – Few of the Faculty Members are pathetic. They don't possess much knowledge about their subjects of teaching.
Asia’s only domain specific university dealing in more than 8 sectorial courses. A university which gives crafts the budding manager who are willing to develop the skills in the same. The university has a promising future as the demand for sectorial courses are gaining speed Due to the developing economy in the country. Placements from the campus are not good when compared with other same grade colleges. Average package is only 4 lakhs for an MBA graduate. If we talk about the infrastructure uni...
The first attraction to the college would definitely be its Domain specialized courses before visiting it. Second attraction would be its infrastructure and location which is in Dehradun Valley. Thirdly, UPES also accepts the score of MAT for MBA plus CAT. The negative point is it gives equal consideration to CAT Score and MAT Score while they vastly differ in difficulty level. Now comes the point of placement, I will say you will get the job in the field you wanted to work in but (if leave out ...
The course is one of its kind and provides exposure to complete energy domain, namely shipping, coal sector, oil and gas sector, power sector, etc. In short, the student gets an insight of the complete energy value chain in the span of two years. The course structure is well designed. However, I feel the college needs to hire better faculties to deliver lectures of such complex nature in order to bring the right value of the course for the students.
Despite 100% placement in MBA (Logistics and supply chain) department, the college is not value for money as average salary package is not good enough. Moreover the location of college is also not good as it is very far away from city and good transportation facility is also not there. No amenities are there like ATM, a good food court, no playground, no gym, etc. Personal vehicles for hostellers are not allowed. Only one thing I like is the teaching methodology which in mostly based on case stu...
The college is located in a lush green and peaceful location with good faculty and a well-equipped library. The college management gives more focus on bringing teachers from the industry who are well-versed with the practical aspects of the industry. Regular visits from industrial experts also helps the students to gain knowledge about the recent trends and advancements in the industry. Although on the trading part, the college does not provide good software platforms such as bloomberg desk ...
To pursue MBA in oil and gas management from UPES is worth when your background is mechanical or chemical engineering. If you are woo by college placement brochure, it is a nice painted type brochure. Tuition fee and hostel expenses is around 8 Lakhs for MBA oil and gas. If you are taking loan for this. Make sure you get placed from college. From last 2 or 3 batches, MBA oil and gas placements are not satisfactory.
Most of the facilities at campus are in good shape and good condition. So overall I like the campus. Faculty focus only on core energy or domain and this silo kind of knowledge share with students limits their thought process and chance of over-all development. Placement is at average and below average salaries as compared to other B-schools. a few get placed at fairly high packages but majority are below par. I think more recent pass outs can give a better picture on this, till 2009 placement a...
Placements: The placement rate in our college is not nog good and the students are very enthusiastic about studying law. The recruiters in our college are the good law firms they used to come to our college during the end of our college semester but after going with the interviews there are less no. Of students placed.
Placements: The placement process at our college is difficult. A few students are selected to sit in on interviews. The salary package offered is not good. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA to 12 LPA.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our course. However, the salary packages were low. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Reliance Petroleum and ONGC. The maximum salary package offered was 52 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 7.5 LPA.
Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed during our batch. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Shell and Toyota were the top recruiting companies.
Placements: Top roles are recruitments in law firms. I'm still in the first year, so don't have a practical idea about this field. But the college provided some of the best recruitments indeed. A lot of big firms hire students, but the average is less.
Placements: The highest package offered was 17 LPA. The placements in the college are average. The college influences students at the time of orientation session that the college would provide placements, but the initial placements are low, and the college does not provide placements to every student. The placement rate of the college is very low. No big companies come for placements, but still, the faculty in our college are good.
Placements: My batch and my senior batch placement are average. An average number of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies like 360 degrees, ITC visited the campus. Approximately 60% of student got placement, but most of the students choose off-campus placement. The internship is average in this college. We have a placement cell, but it is not good.
Placements: Placements provided by our college are not much good. They don't provide 100% placements as no good companies visit our campus. It is very depressing if you are not provided with an opportunity to grow.
