B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2016
Offered by Vaagdevi Institute of Technology and Science (VITS, Kadapa)
1.4

Pursuing engineering at Vaagdevi College is a waste.
Placements: The placements in our college were not much good when I was studying, but it turned well later. My branch, electrical and electronics engineering, the placements in our branch are less in college. The teaching quality in our college is not much good, so students get low percentages.
Infrastructure: Vaagdevi College has a library but has no new books. We have very few books that are usable. If those books are taken, they must be returned in less time. Wi-Fi is available, but we can't access it. There is also a canteen in our college, but it is not useful. Sports facilities are not good.
Faculty: The teaching quality of some of the faculty in our college is good. The rest of them are waste. They have no subject knowledge. Exams are difficult. Lab marks are not given properly. The lectures are only theoretical. Practicals are not conducted.
Other: The college is not good for engineering.

This college is average, with no proper practical knowledge.
Placements: At the time of 2016, there were 2 sections in EEE at least 130 EEE students, there were no campus interviews. The companies were not coming to campus interviews, in 2016 EEE, and no students were placed in interviews. There was no package, because there were no placements in this college.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi, computer laboratories were good, but need more explanation, classes were good, no visual representation, and the library was good. There was no hostel for boys, canteens were good, but all items were not available, games were poor and no proper ground at the time of the game period, and sometimes students were not allowed on the ground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were M.Tech qualifications, and they need some more knowledge, average teaching quality, no practical knowledge especially for intermediate students. At the time of exams, students were not allowed into college wait at GATE in hot weather conditions.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in electrical engineering, more practical knowledge was needed for any course, and college takes building fees but was not refundable. The principal and chairman's behavior are not good.

Our college provides good facilities and staff members.
Placements: Almost all top MNCs visit our college for placements, and students get selected for the campus selection process. The salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. About 50% of students got an internship in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well-cleaned. Each section or each subject has a separate laboratory and workshops. The quality of the food served is good. The library and workshops have highly moderated equipment.
Faculty: Staff members and lecturers have experience of 3 to 4 years. They are highly professional. They teach us very well and focus more on all types of category students. Semester exams are of not much difficult level.

Our college is good, and you get good placements and gain good knowledge here.
Placements: I have passed this year exams with 68%. This college offers the best placement options in companies like Infosys, Google Microsoft, etc., and small IT companies. These companies offer the highest salary package of 1.2 LPA to 12 LPA. More placements are available in our college every year, and most of the good students get some jobs. Companies conduct one interview with a student, and all companies electrical, mechanical and community-related companies are available for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good education to students, and in the hostel, the food and rooms are ugly. The medical facility is not available, and the library has thousands of books. They don't conduct sports and games. Our college provides any industry lab.
Faculty: Some faculty members here interact with students and teach the lesson. They are highly qualified, and their teaching quality is good. Their knowledge of the subject is awesome, and some teachers are very helpful during admission and preparation for exams. Their suggestions are more useful to students, but some teachers are not qualified. There are non-teaching faculty members who clear the doubts of students.
Other: I like electrical engineer group, and I complete my diploma in electrical engineer. So I join this college and I improve my knowledge skills and electrical engineer skills. In another two years, I will complete my exams, and then I will be well qualified. Events are organised well here, and the campus surroundings are awesome with tress. Our college provides scholarships, but it doesn't prefer extracurricular activities.

The college is good. I'm satisfied with the college management.
Placements: The placement program is conducted actively by the college management. The placement training is also provided. CRT classes are conducted every semester for the students of 3rd and final years of all branches. The college has enrolled for Apita. Medium and low-scale companies offer more placements. The expected salary is Rs. 13,000 to 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green. The library is good. Classrooms are good. Cultural activities and fests are organised for students to have a good interaction. Wi-Fi facility is available on the whole campus with an average speed. The canteen is good. The hostel is provided only for girls.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very good at teaching with good knowledge. Half of them are dedicated to education. Teaching quality is good. The student to faculty ratio is good. Overall, the teaching is good. The college is affiliated to JNTU-A. Teaching quality and methods are satisfactory.
Other: Club activities, college fest, games and sports are good. The campus crowd is high compared to other colleges. Scholarships and fee reimbursement facilities are available. Bus facilities are provided for all areas and also rural places.
