Review of Vasavi College including its placement and college life.
Placements: Around 80%, including me, got the placement. Top recruitment companies are Service Now, EY, Deloitte, FactSet, Salesforce, MTX, etc. Many other students secured internships. Roles offered are testing and development based on the requirements of the company.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi network is strong in some blocks, while most of the blocks don't have Wi-Fi. Classrooms are average. The space of the library is small compared to no. of students. During exam time, we won't get a place to sit. I wasn't staying in the college hostel, so can't say about hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are good, especially, Vaman sir from the CSE department. He is very kind and helpful towards students. Course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. There are 6 Semester exams and it's tough to pass. If we study promptly concerning internal question papers, we can easily pass the exams.
Other: Vasavi is known for providing the best placements. Canteen is not so good including staff members. If we maintain a CGPA above 7.5, we get many opportunities for placements in CSE.

Vasavi is almost as strict as school, but good placements.
Placements: The college placements for the 2024 batch were 64% overall, with 453 out of 780 students placed. The highest on-campus offer was 26 LPA from Deiveroo. Servicenow offers internships that may convert to full-time positions, with the highest salary at 42 LPA. Top recruitment companies include Oracle, Cisco, Infosys, and Align.
Infrastructure: The college is small, but the facilities are good. Wi-Fi is enabled in the computer science, civil, and mechanical blocks, but not in the classrooms; it's only in the labs. However, jammers are placed in the IT and ECE blocks, which are the VS and JC blocks, so not even mobile data works in those blocks. The classrooms are neat and clean, and the washrooms are good as well. The canteen is very scenic, like in the movies. Sports are nil except for one fest called Spardha Sports Fest, which comes once a year. Students are allotted one sports period per week, but very few students play.
Faculty: The teachers at Vasavi College of Engineering are good in the first year. However, from the second year onwards, they just play the PowerPoints and don't explain much. So, we have to rely on YouTube to pass our exams. The curriculum is very good, but we need to go into it thoroughly. The semester exams are not that difficult. There are two mid terms of 30 marks each, which average to 30. There are three quizzes that average to 5 marks each, and three assignments that average to 5 marks each. This makes for an internal mark out of 40. The semester exam is for 60 marks.
Other: I graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department in 2026. The campus is small but neat and full of greenery. There is one annual fest called Euphoria that includes techfest, traditional, and DJ days. The college admitted 780 students each year, but this year it increased to 960. There are a few extracurricular activities, including an e-cell for entrepreneurs called Swayam, a fashion club called Suruchi, and a dance club called Themeballet, but these are only active very rarely.

The college's academics are good, and the facilities are better compared to other colleges.
Placements: At present, the placement percentage is between 60 and 75%. 20% of the students got the internship from my course in Providence. The top courses that are offered by the companies are SDE employee and software engineer. The college will announce the highest and lowest package when the placements are done.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the technological provisions that are provided within the class are good. The Wi-Fi in the college is average; in some places the Wi-Fi will not work. The library is good, and there will be meetings with students conducted by the library faculty to enhance the facilities provided in the library. The labs are also good. Since I am a day scholar, I don't know the facilities that are provided in the hostels.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our course is average, according to me. The course curriculum is not up to the mark; only some of the lecturers teach real-life problems. The semester exams are quite difficult, but the pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course as it is trending in the market. The best thing about this course is placements and labs. It would be better if the faculty would be experienced and knowledgeable; though some of the faculty is experienced, the other faculty also should be knowledgeable.

Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are very good, the classes are very clean and the pencils are clean, the classrooms have proper doors, the speed of Wi-Fi is good, and the library is also good. The hostel is very good, and the food is also good, fresh food is available and there are medical facilities as well. Medicines are also available at the right time.
Faculty: The teachers there are also qualified, they teach well, and I like studying very much. I always study well. Yes, this course is relevant to students, of course, students are ready for the industry. The semester exams are a little bit harder for their benefit only, my college.

Placements: The college has excellent infrastructure and offers good placement opportunities, with nearly half of the students being placed every year. Numerous roles are offered to the students at this college. In my batch and the senior batch, approximately sixty percent of students were successfully placed. Therefore, this college is highly regarded for its academic pursuits.
Infrastructure: This college's infrastructure is very good. Various facilities are available. The college lab and library are very big and robust. The library has many useful books. So I always spend more time in the library, and Wi-Fi is enabled on campus with good speed and a wide range.
Faculty: The college promotes environmental sustainability, and the teachers possess extensive teaching experience spanning over 5 years.
