Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship:
Vel Tech has provided access to high quality multipurpose technical education without any barrier by instituting 7 Crore Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarships to ensure that the poor but meritorious are not denied such access. This noble vision has borne fruit by attracting students from across the country, students from each state and so far more than 400 students have had the benefit of totally FREE education, boarding and lodging. It was fitting that the 7th Mahatma Gandhi scholarships worth 1 crore to 119 students from all states of India studying in Vel Tech were distributed by Mr.Narayanamurthy, Chairman Emeritus Infosys and Dr. Sudha murthy, Chairperson Infosys foundation, known for their noble thinking and care for the underprivileged in the society.

Placements: No core companies are coming, only IT companies are coming, and IT companies are also not taking biomedical engineering students. The average salary package is only 3 LPA. The maximum is about 5.5 LPA for biomedical engineering. Only one student has been placed this year (2021-2025 batch).
Placements: They provide placement training and soft skills to develop our skills, and they offer packages from 3 LPA to 48 LPA. Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, and many other companies are hiring from this college, and 90 percent of students will get placements. All types of roles are available for hiring students.
Placements: The placement of college is decent if you are here to only study. The average package offered in BE. CSE is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Cognizant, TCS and more. In our college internship, you have to find your own internship and submit your certificate, and then only you are eligible to sit in college placement. Roles offered are developers.
Placements: Placements: In our college, almost 90% of students were placed in top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Zoho, and more. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, the lowest package is between 1.2 to 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. They provide internships for students to enhance their skills.
Placements: Hi guys, Veltech is one of the good universities among deemed universities in Tamil Nadu. Placement is very good. The number of students placed in Veltech is 1400 in Cognizant, TCS, and many other popular IT companies. Those who study in B.Tech, CSE, EEE, and ECE.
Placements: Half of the students in my department have been placed, and over 80% of the students have gotten internships with the help of the college and their own efforts. The highest package is 9LPA, and the lowest is 2.5LPA in a good company.
