Good placement for the year 2018.

Placements: It was less when compared to last year. 80% placement Stipend amount ranges from Rs. 5-20 k. This year the placement is around 60%. The CSE department has got most of the offers when compared to other departments. The salary package offered Rs.1.5-16LPA. Amazon, Zoho Wipro, CTS, Infosys etc. visited our campus.

This is a cherishing experience for life.

Placements: Here, the placements are good compared to most top colleges in Chennai. The training that they give will surely get you a job wherever you go. Right from the first year, they start giving the training sessions. They make sure that you attend at least 1-2 mock interviews before the actual placements start.

The placements are good but the quality of the education is poor.

Placements: The college has good placement percentage with various IT companies. For other departments, on-campus placements are poor in this college. The highest is 6.6 LPA. Internships are provided, and for that, we have to be in good academic grade which I don't accept. But they keep a good track record in terms if placements.

Velammal, the name says it all

Placements: Placements are good. They provide separate training for the same. IT companies dominate the scenario. Always try for core companies. You will get good faculty support for the same. Placements happen along with the main campus so expect some partiality.

Good placement. Infrastructure can be improved.Lab facilities are good.Research area can be improved

Placements: Placement is really good. They make external trainers to train students in such a way they clear aptitude and technical round. Training sessions are also given for personal grooming to perform in HR. Many companies are coming and the placement is really good. The highest offer is 12lakhs PA. Core companies for all department are coming and students are taken for all roles in a company where a fresher could perform.

A sparkling path for engineering.

Placements: Our college has a wide channel of opportunities. Our placement rate has been fairly 91%. A special placement cell is very active in our college. Many career awareness sessions are also conducted. Entrepreneurship cell is set up to encourage setting up individual businesses or projects. Model interviews and mock tests are conducted to make the students fearless and ready to face the interviews with confidence during the recruitment process.

Very good placements for all IT field students!

Placements: Each department in college has about 90% and more placement record every year. The demand from the companies is more from our college. They give good importance to internship and in-plant training. Comparing with previous batch placement, our batch placements are very good. College itself gives us effective training during placement periods and even for a particular company.

Placement assured but average infrastructure and poor faculty.

Placements: The placements will be always above 90% in my batch and my senior batches. Most of the students will be placed on service based companies and there will be fewer product companies in senior batches. But this year, there has been drastically increased product companies which have higher packages with a maximum of 16 lakhs per annum. Placement will be well assured in the college and the average salary offered was 3 lakhs per annum.

Don't join this college if you are looking for freedom.Expect to be treated like a prisoner.

Placements: Placements were good. 60% were placed I think. Highest - around 6 lakh, Lowest - around 2. Almost all IT companies visited for placements along with some companies like Zoho, Avnet . Role - depends on the company/based on the skill-sets you have. Internships - You have to find it on your own,College doesn't encourage internships if you have a low GPA. Stipend offered - College does not offer any stipend.

Good college to study. Full freedom is presented.

Placements: 80-90% students with eligibility placed every year. More IT companies are coming but there are only a few core companies. Full freedom is offered to choose their roles like class representative, organiser etc. The sti[end is around 5k. For each certification from other colleges for winning in each event, the full amount will be gifted. Every year rupees 500 are given for 100% attendance.

When it comes to speaking about Velammal, it has a brand name and reputation for its strict rules. The college is completely education oriented and it does support students who show interest towards education. It has a good environment and supportive faculty. The brand name of the college attracts companies to recruit candidates on great count.

Quite far from the main city. Approx 50 km. the campus looks fine and the teachers are good but the college rules and regulations are very strict. Fees come in the affordable category. Just if they could have more place for sports. The placements are not too good. They are like average.

Nice college to pass in your semester and to get your cgpa at the average level but your IQ and knowledge about your subjects will be zero. You will be having only bookish knowledge. And placement wise for sure you will get placed in some IT company. For EEE people to get into core companies it is very much difficult here.

It is a good college to study and get good grades to get placed in a reputed firm. But when it comes to co-curricular or extra-curricular activities, it really needs improvement. Infrastructure was good but is not a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Other efforts to trigger innovative and lateral thinking could have been taken. Otherwise everything was fine.

Dissatisfied, this college is having reputed name outside but inside different.

Placements: In this college, for mechanical engineer campus recruitment is very poor. Not even a single mechanical guy get placement in core. Some placed in IT companies. For information technology and computer Science engineer placements are good. Paid private placement training coaches will fetches the IT jobs.

Good place to gain knowledge with good placement.

Placements: Talking about placement, Velammal does a great job in bringing up all the top companies in IT sector as well as domain related companies. The highest packages offered by the companies would be around 10-12 LPA while the lowest package is 3 LPA The placement usually begins when we were at 6th semester. So many students got internship during their 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, Zoho have offered their intern letter for the students got placed in their final year. Companies like Infosys, Wipr...
