School of Law was established in 2015 with a motive of disseminating knowledge related to the Law among students. It is a part of VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS). The School is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The School offers Integrated LLB, LLB and LLM programmes in various specialisations. Apart from this, it also conducts co-curricular activities, such as moot competition, dispute resolution training and negotiation training. It also organises legal awareness camps. Students are also encouraged to do free of charge voluntary work.

Scholarships are offered to students based on marks scored in Vels Scholarship Admission Test (V-SAT). The Scholarships are offered to students, who have completed Class 12. School of Law, VISTAS offers this scholarship to top 500 students, based on their V-SAT score. The top 500 students get 100 per cent tuition fee waiver and rest of the participants get up to 75 per cent tuition fee waiver, depending on their scores.
