Placements: The placements are very less, that too only BPO companies are coming. There are no placements in the core and IT. Per year only 20 to 50 placements are available. Try to increase the number of placements in the college. It is better to improve the training for placements in the college. Give the training on topics like aptitude and general knowledge.
Placements: 50% of the placements were offered to my senior batch students. Main companies like Infosys, Cognizant and Oracle visited the campus. The lowest stipend offered was 2.4 lakhs per annum. The highest stipend offered was 10 lakhs per annum. The average stipend offered was 5 lakhs per annum. The placement training given to the students is good enough to earn a job.
Placements: No placements. Not even 1 company visited the campus. The placement cell was just for the namesake. I wondered how our management was so irresponsible. All the students in the final year were in shock about our future. There was a large gap between the placement officer and the management.
Placements: Only a few people got placed on the campus because of less companies visiting the campus. I think only 10 to 15 companies visited our campus every year. But the institute trying to make them increase it. Some companies are offering 3 lakhs per annum and some students also got 3.5 lakhs and 4 lakhs per annum.
Placements: Placements are like not at all okay. Not all the students get placed in any college but more than half get placed. And then there is VJIT where not even half of the half students get placed. Mostly startup companies come for the placements in our company. MNCs won't be attending our college and even when they visit for hiring students, they won't hire the students. Startups also hire only 1-2 students or maximum 5, not more than that out of 240 members. For our seniors in mechanical, only 5 got ...
Placements: The placements are average. If you could manage to be good with basics, you can get into at least some service based company. If you are looking for getting placed in product based companies, you should be on your own and have a vigour in blood and prove yourself as an engineer. It is not the business of college to provide placements if you are worth you can apply through many sources.
Placements: There are some placements in BPOs. Not every branch gets a core job. Only CSE and IT have some chances of getting placed in their respective fields. No mechanical & civil students are placed in the core field. Moreover, only selected students are placed, which is not even 25% of all.
Placements: Placements are not so satisfactory in this college. Not everyone gets placed. CSE and ECE students have a chance to show their skills to get placed in the core field but when you consider mechanical and civil, there are no core companies coming to the college, so you can't expect a lot from here.
Placements: We had a few placement drives and not many students got selected. Nearly 10% of our batch students got selected with an average salary of 1.8 lakhs and the maximum salary offered is 4 LPA. Companies like Sutherland, Amazon, etc. recruited the students. The companies offered the roles of business process outsourcing. No internships were offered to us.
Placements: Placements were the time when I realised the importance of my percentage in academics, but we should not expect to get placed into core companies. Only software companies used to come and select the students who have above 70%. In our batch, as per my knowledge, only 20% of the students got placed. The students who got placed in a company were also attending the next interviews too, which made the others degraded.
