Good placements in 2016. Satisfied with my college because of faculty.

Placements: The placement percentage of our batch is average. I don't know about the placements percentage for my seniors. 60 percent students got placed out of Kolkata, and other 20 percent got placed in Kolkata. Not all companies, but some companies visited the campus. Mainly project work was given to the students. Science, geography, economic students got internships from our college. Average stipend was offered during internships. The placement cell is useful.

If you want to have a good college life, then this college is not meant for you.

Placements: No placement drive is conducted in the college till now, as the college doesn't provide placement facilities. So, I cannot mention the salaries. No company visits our campus. The college doesn't provide internships even. There is no placement cell.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of bad infrastructure.

Placements: Regarding the placements, our college never helps us with anything they are only concerned about the three years we spent in the college. Moreover, we need to write other entrance examination after completing the UG syllabus, but we do not receive any guidance in that case.

The birth place of excellence.

Placements: Physics is a very promising subject. Placement after completing your UG course under CU is a common thing. Score good marks to secure a good job. You can earn a healthy money from the jobs. You can earn a lot of respect because physics is a very important subject.

This is a heritage college. Teachers are very much helpful. The infrastructure is developing.

Placements: This college does not provide you with the placement, but if you graduated from this college, then you can carry forward your career to higher study like MA/M.Sc. Approximately, 80% of students took a chance for the higher study, and others, they just try for the better job in their comparative field.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I haven't done any internships yet. Therefore I don't know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment process and their pay scale. We have good alumni network. The institute provides placement to students through campus interviews with reputed companies.

A good college in Kolkata.

Placements: Approximately, every student is placed in either educational institutions or any other related jobs. Some of them are pursuing higher studies. The students are placed in foreign countries also. Some students are involved in the college as lecturers also. So, there is no tension for placement.

It is the best college for UG courses under CU.

Placements: Placements in our college are solely depending on students' talent. If you score first division, you can opt for master's and then look for placements. You have to find your placement here as this is a government-aided college but there is a lot to learn from this course.

Best for who lives in north Kolkata .

Placements: None of my classmate got any internship or job from college placements, so basically those who are preparing for corporate sector, this place is not good for you. It is best for simple graduation or those who are willing to go for higher studies.

Absolutely dissatisfied with everything, no placement initiative by the college.

Placements: 1. No placement is provided by the college. We have to apply for jobs by ourselves. 2. Most of my seniors are working at TCS, getting paid around 20,000. 3. TCS, Cognizant. They do not recruit as such. We have to apply if there are vacancies. 4. Programmer mostly.

Scope of getting a placement is good, but the teaching faculty and syllabus could be much better.

Placements: There are a total of 38 students in our department. Recently, there was an interview hosted by a couple of companies regarding our placements. Few of the companies were TCS, Microsoft and Wipro. Those who were selected, were told by the company that they'll be under training for a year and will be paid something around 15k to 16k.
