Review of Vidyasagar School of Social Work.
Placements: 90 percent of students were placed in this course. 8 Lacs per annum was the average package offered in the course. WHO, UNICEF, CARE, PIRAMAL, etc., were the top recruiting companies. All of them get internships in good NGOs like Chain, Piramal, CINI, WHO, UNICEF. MSW, BSW, and Psychological Counseling.
Infrastructure: Yes, classroom, library, and Wi-Fi were available for students to use. Good quality of food and canteen is good. Games are there to play. Good medical facilities are there for the students to have and good scope for sports if interested, and hostel is there for boys.
Faculty: Yes, helpful teachers and highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers. Excellent teaching quality. Yes, it does industry-ready and curriculum relevant. Not that difficult semester exams to qualify and the percentage to pass is at least forty percent of marks.
Other: I chose the course because of my interest in social work and wanted to work for the community. Infrastructure could be more good activities and fests surroundings and scholarships.

Our college is average, but the course offered here is unique and in demand nowadays.
Placements: Around 40 students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs 60,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. UNICEF, UNESCO, WHO, COAL INDIA, and other famous NGOs even in government sectors were the top recruiting companies. Every student had to do internships in NGOs from all over the country.
Infrastructure: In this college, classrooms, air-conditioners, fans, library, hall, etc., were available. The hostel facility was not provided. Sports and games were available in this college. It also provides a canteen, and the food served was good. Medical facility was not available, but other facilities were there. Everyone was helpful in this college. The environment was also good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. The course was relevant. It prepares students for future work and jobs for sure. Exams were not difficult, if students attends classes properly and regularly. The pass percentage was 78%.
Other: I opted for this course, because I wanted to serve the country by doing professional work. It will give students guaranteed jobs. Nothing was required to improve in this college. The scholarships were also available for the residents, and the campus life was good. The crowd was not much, and the connectivity was there. The activities were also held in this college.

Good campus life and a very friendly environment is everywhere in the institute .
Placements: No campus placement offered from the institute. And they don't take the responsibility of providing jobs. And after graduation u will be getting a minimum of 8k salary staying in west Bengal. But as far as I know outside west Bengal BSW has a huge demand in corporate sector so one can definitely give it a try.
Infrastructure: It's just a 3 story building with a poor infrastructure facilities. And also some rooms are even so small that it's not even adequate for sitting with all the students. But otherwise the college is good in terms of almost everything. So if you are thinking of taking BSW you can go for it here .
Faculty: Faculty members are great. Indeed they are the master of their respective stream. Some faculty members even provides personal mentorship too. And all the facilities are very friendly and the teaching approach is also very interesting that makes the session even more interesting .
Other: No matter how bad the infrastructure facilities is but a very familiar and hospitable environment is there in vidyasagar school of social work. And also no ragging or political party related union is there. You will surely have a great campus life if u want to.

The college does not provide placements but has good faculty members.
Placements: The college did not offer us any placements but they can refer us to some organisations. There are no such companies or organisations recruiting us. The college did not promise to give placements, but the students have to find out. But the offered roles after the course of MSW is good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are small, congested and a library is available on campus. But they do not provide Wi-Fi to students. The hostel, sports, gaming are also available. Only a few cultural events will happen like freshers and an annual programme. There are no lab equipments. There is a good water purifier too.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and supportive, exams are tough, and the pass percentage is average. Teachers help students at any time. They need good teaching skills they were highly educated. Semester exams are easy sometimes and tough sometimes but overall the exams conducted are okay.
Other: Joining this course can help students work for the welfare of society and provide a huge opportunity to create a better environment. But I wish that the campus would be bigger and have some facilities like a hall, own food court, organise more events like sports fest, etc.

Satisfied with the faculty totally, but the placement facility should be improved.
Placements: 50% of the students got placed. The offered salary is INR 3 LPA, INR 1 LPA, INR 2 LPA. CINI, Child Line India, Goonj, Ajim Premji Foundation are the top recruiting companies. Students got internships in HOPE Foundation, CINI, CRY, Save the Child, CSR. The top role offered is program Manager, Project Manger, Project Coordinator, Field Coordinator.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are different Classrooms, Wi-Fi facilities with proper library facility with all required books and materials. The quality of the food in the mess and canteen is average with mediocre medical facilities and good sports and indoor games facility.
Faculty: The teachers were really helpful whenever required. They were enough qualified with doctorate degrees, and obviously with enough knowledge. It does make students ready to work in the Social developmental field with proper field work at the grassroots level.
