It is a good and affordable college, but the higher authority teachers' behavior is very bad.
Placements: As the mechanical branch is a highly demanded one and in various industries, it will fill their needs, so a good marine of students get placed, like 60 to 70%. The top recruiting companies for our college are CU-Built Pvt., Ltd., and some more unrecognized companies. Quality inspector role is offered by most of the companies. The highest package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Only 20% of students got internships in this college. Mainly, students get this by themselves only.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is Wi-Fi enabled 24*7. The classrooms are old, but you will get a study environment. The labs don't have many instruments. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The infrastructure in the hostel is good. The canteen food is good. The breakfast is very bad in quality. There are many gaming instruments available, for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: In my opinion, all the teachers do not have the eligibility to teach in an engineering college, but some of them are awesome. Some teachers are really very helpful, and some are very poor in behaviour. Overall, the college makes students ready for industries. Semester exams are really very helpful in this college, it is really very tough to pass. On average, only 60 to 70% of students passed the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I like machine functioning, and I love to study it. There is a good scope for mechanical engineering these days. I want to add a computer language to our course because, nowadays, computers are really taking the jobs of many people. In an engineering college, there are many events organized, like tech fests, robot fighting fest, and some cultural events. It defines your leadership.

The college has absolutely good studies, placements, hostel, sports and canteen facilities.
Placements: Vignan Institute of Technology and Management, Berhampur, offers campus placements all over India, for all the branches like mechanical, civil, computer science, chemical, electrical, and electronics with good packages.
Infrastructure: In Vignan Institute of Technology and Management, all the facilities are available, like good classrooms, laboratories, library and Wi-Fi. The hostel facility is available with a good environment, and good quality food is available. A canteen is available, providing healthy food for Rs. 40. All types of indoor and outdoor games are available.
Faculty: In this college, all types of lectures are available for individual subjects and individual branches. The teaching style of lecturers is very helpful and easy to learn. They teach in-depth and personally focus on the weak students. The course is very helpful to be industry-ready.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: No placement in 2018. We passed out as jobless guy.
90% are passed out. Package is not much high. No recruitment companies came.
80% students went to internship in different multi national companies. One of best college for knowledge but not for placement.
Infrastructure: Mess canteen, medical facilities and sports are best. The facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department (e. g. Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library) are good
the quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are 5 out of 5.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Highly knowledgeable teacher are there. Teaching quality is superb. The course curriculum is relevant but does not make students, industry-ready that much. One of the best college for knowledge but not for placement. Everything is the best.

Once upon a time, it was good, but not now. There are no good faculty members and placements.
Placements: The college does not provide placements in our batch. Some few years back, the college was best in our city. Many companies visited our campus for recruitments. But, nowadays placements are totally Nil, and not only in the mechanical branch in other branches also. There was a dedicated placement section with an experienced person who worked as an HR once. But he resigned, and the placement section closed due to which we did not got placements.
Infrastructure: All labs are equipped with complete equipment. The library is also available with a large collection of books. The quality of the food served in the canteen is decent, and it is cheap also. Labs sessions are conducted weekly 3-4 times for 3-4 hours.
Faculty: I was lateral entry and was studying for 3 years in this college. Faculty members in our college are quite good and friendly. Classes are conducted sincerely, and their teaching was also good. But as time passed, some good teachers resigned. As far as I know, the teaching quality is degraded. Our college follows BPUT syllabus, and it is completely GATE orientated. But the only problem is faculty members are not available now due to which you have to take care of studies on your own.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was quite interested in machinery, tools and manufacturing. The only problem I faced during my tenure in college was the lack of good faculty members. They provided state scholarships like Medhabruti. The campus is quite good, and it is in the outskirts of the city. Bus and auto facilities are available as far as the local commute is concerned. The college also provides bus facility. Every year annual celebrations like techfest and games are conducted, and at the end of the function, there is a DJ night. Even some students from other colleges also visit our campus for participation.

Review of Vignan Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: Students who score more than 50% got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month for HOD. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month for faculty. You only need the mechanical engineering book, scientific calculator and drafter. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.5 LPA. Students who scored 6.5 CGPA got an internship from our course in companies like Tata, Infosys.
Infrastructure: There are three labs like a chemistry lab, physics lab, od lab with 3 workshops. There is a library for all college students. There is a Wi-Fi on the campus. All classrooms are neat and clean equipped with a projector. There are two hostels for boys and girls. There is a huge canteen, and the quality of the food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and friendly. They help all the student in their study, personal life and also in their career. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. They teach technically, practically and theoretically.
