Review of Vignan Institute of Technology and Science.

Placements: Our batch had very low placements. Almost 30% of students got placed in the electrical and instrumental engineering course in our pass-out batch. The highest salary package offered for software jobs was 4.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered by core companies was 1.8 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, and core companies visited our college for placements. Top roles offered were software and instrumental inspection.

Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities and infrastructure. All labs and the library had Wi-Fi. The library had a very huge collection of books. All classrooms had projectors and led televisions to display presentations. The hostel had good facilities. I stayed in a private room near our college. The hostel was clean and provided hygienic food. The hostel fee was a little more compared to private hostels.

Faculty: Our teachers and professors were highly qualified and very interested in teaching. They always communicated with students. Teachers provided information not only in college but also off campus. The course curriculum for electrical and instrumental engineering was very good and easy to understand. It prepared students for industry. Exams were conducted after each completion of the chapter. It was helpful for students to understand very much.

Very disciplinary, valuable education, higher placements, experienced faculty. No force for fees.

Placements: We have many placements offers from different sectors. The major companies which visit our campus are Infosys, Amazon, TechMahindhra, Google, Accenture, etc. Apart from those big companies, there are more than 15 mid level companies that offer placements in our college. Many companies are ready to hire students from our college. Interviewers are very talented, deep-minded, and communicate well with the students.

Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, Vignan has a huge campus which consists of an open-air auditorium, two big seminar halls, classrooms with larger dimensions, good ventilation. It is far away from the city. The college is rhombus-shaped, has a clean atmosphere. It's maintained very clean, and the hall acoustics are perfectly dimensioned. In total, there are 5 floors, and each floor is allocated to a department. The most important thing is, recently our college got NBA accreditation and it is approved by AICTU in affiliation with JNTU-H.

Faculty: Each of our faculty members has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and have also done completed PhDs in their respective subjects. Each day, faculty motivate the students and they push the students for a high knowledge world. Coming to the course curriculum, it is prepared by highly educated faculty from the JNTU-H, and the college faculty will execute it perfectly. Every Monday, a weekly test is conducted for students, which will help them to improve their subject skills. Innovative projects were taken up the college plays a major role in the in the student's career, as all the students are required to participate in the Innovation Expo conducted every year.

Other: Vignan has more than 5 acres of land as sports fields, where all kinds of sports like cricket, volleyball, Kabaddi, etc. can be played. Coming to fests, a big cultural fest called Tarang will be held every year with more than 4000 students participating from our campus itself. There are more than 2000 students on campus. Surroundings are very peaceful, decent weather, good climate, best ever nature. Every student from the backward classes is provided with scholarships of Rs. 35000/- for college fee, and Rs. 2000/- is provided by the Government of Telangana.

Vignan institute of Technology and Science - a better institution. ?

Placements: The college has a better number of placements including better companies like Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant, Epam, etc. yet not many related to the core for some branches. Lack of better communication skills is even resulting in refusing the selectors to pick some students with better academic performance. Every year, around 60-70% of the students are placed in our college placements occupancy with a beneficial package. Most of the students placed are in the software development companies. We have a placement cell which is efficient and is useful for us in strengthening our positives and also providing the better way of approach towards an interview.

Infrastructure: Our college has a better infrastructure for branches like computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering, and mechanical engineering, providing all the necessities. In some branches like electronics and instrumentation, there might be improper functioning of some engineering equipment and some basic equipment as well as laboratories. Classrooms have a better ventilation and proper seating. We are offered average rated food in our canteen and which may not be acceptable by every student. Hostel rooms are good with a place to study, write as well.

Faculty: Faculty members in Vignan are very helpful to students in clarifying doubts at any point of time. Some faculty members may not have a better grip on the subject, yet they can pursue the academic teaching with an ease. Some of our faculty members are highly qualified and the best knowledge. Teaching quality is good. Teaching with digital technology, using projectors and YouTube listening and reading is our beneficial measure of teaching. Student to faculty ratio is not more than 30:1. every year core branched students get a better industrial exposure with 2 or more industrial visits like BHEL, NTPCL, etc. The course curriculum is of course very useful as our management conducts weekly assignments, every week in order to maintain a better grip over subjects.

Other: We have a national level youth festival by name Vignan tarang and a high rated entertainment oriented event with some best rated celebrities as hosts and musicians in order to make students feel pleasure out of academic pressure. Frequently we have some traditional days and project expos, sports fests, freshers party, farewell party, graduation day and an alumni meet.

Our college is the best because of the excellent laboratory and faculty. I am proud to be here.

Placements: In our college, we have placed in many companies like Infosys, EEPROM, Serco google, Genpact, etc. In those, 60 percent of the students got placed in all the placements. Every company has offered the salary ranges from 2 lakhs per annum, and the least salary is the 1.5 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Our college is spacious that we have a big playground and full of nature with trees and plants. There are a big cricket ground and football ground. The college is in an oval shape. In each class, nearly 70 to 80 members can sit, but the section can accept 60 students per class. The college has the digital library, two seminar halls, and big open auditorium. The college has 50 college buses and having peace in the college.

Faculty: Our faculty members are close to the students so that we can easily understand the topics they discuss. They give us a course material, which was written by them so that we can easily understand the topics, and they help in clearing the doubts as many times we ask them. The students can write the exam without preparation and also they can take us to the industrial tour to know what kind of process going on nowadays.

Other: In our college, the events are wonderful, especially the event name called Tarang, we enjoyed a lot there, and it is of three days with DJ Night, competitions, and much more. There are the events for the freshers also, and only for them, after the fresher's party, they can enjoy combinely.

Placements: Placements in this college are good but minimal. Every year, companies like Infosys, ADP, Genpact (BPO), Serco (Google Maps) and Coca-Cola visit the campus. For electronics and instrumentation, the placements are minimal and the range of package is low as compared to other companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college is spread over 100 acres and has a very vast campus. The labs are sufficient to practice and there are playgrounds for cricket and football. The college organises various tech fests like Tarang and Elintze which are really good and helpful.

Faculty: The faculty is good and knowledgeable. They are well qualified as well as enough industry exposure. Industrial tours are conducted every year for enough technical knowledge to the students. The curriculum is very useful and the syllabus is completed in time. The faculty is good with friendly lecturers.
