The ideal college in the medical world .

Placements: The 1st year batch which I joined has 200 other students, and VIMS is one of the top colleges in the state with the best faculty and facilities. The college really provides vast, great knowledge about medicine and about this social course. 200 students get the internship placements in the college.

Very old and good college with respect to faculty, facilities and patient load.

Placements: Many top doctors are from this college and it is one of the oldest colleges in our state. It's well known for its very big campus. Significant amount of people got into central institutions study in this college. The academics are great and all departments are good.

I am highly satisfied with the college, staff and facilities, but the infrastructure is not good.

Placements: It is a medical college, and almost all the students get jobs after their MBBS. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. However, it depends on the work of PG's. Top roles offered to the students have to manage to save a life. In our course, the salary offered will depend on the seat you get in PG and also the work. All the passed out students do an internship, and some of our seniors did in hospitals like Fortis, Apollo, etc.

The Dream college that everyone should aim .

Placements: 200 students are now pursuing the course. At the time of internship of the course atleast 30000 for interns and minimum of 50-60k is been paid for the PG students. The students have also been given to treat patients in various departments like surgery, obg etc.

Overall it is a good college.

Placements: There were 150 students in my batch. In 2023, they increased the number of seats by 50, for a total of 200 students. VIMS is a good college to learn at. There are a lot of patients coming to the hospital every day, and you can learn a lot by seeing different types of patients.

As many patients visit VIMS, students can learn better during internships.

Placements: Our college does not offer any placements. You have to look after your job. Students either do PG or look for jobs after their graduation. Our college has no role in placements. It is the hard work and experience of students that can offer them jobs in hospitals.

An absolutely excellent college for doing MBBS

Placements: Pursuing MBBS here gives you more experience than merely having bookish knowledge. No placements are provided here for MBBS but PG courses are available here. Here, many of the students get passed and secure their PG seats, thereafter. Here interns have more experience so they study more perfectly.

It is an Old college but the hostel facility for the boys in the first year is poor.

Placements: The placement rate for this college is quite good over here. The stipend students get Rs30k/month. VIMS is one of the oldest medical college in Karnataka and is ranked 4th.
