Dissatisfied with the faculty, management and curriculum of this college. Waste of money and time.
Placements: Only BBA students have the most opportunities for both internships and placements. Most of the students in the B.A. department even get decent placements through college. They never even let us, B.A. students, know about good internships and placements. We were allowed to do any internships until last year. And in the last year, they gave enough to students as well. I never heard of a B.A. getting a good internship or placement ever through the college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have very old and very comfortable furniture. Our backs and legs hurt within half an hour of sitting on those benches. The projectors are in only a few rooms so we have to shift to other classes, which is very convenient. There is an auditorium, which is as comfortable as classrooms. It accommodates enough students for an event. Despite the less space, they invite a larger audience. They sold students for not adjusting to their small space after calling too many people in the auditorium.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly young people trying to fill their gap year; some teachers make us study on our own and never teach. They themselves lack knowledge. The curriculum is just that we are forced to write exams when classes happen in the first place. For semester exams, we have to cover a lot in a short time as we go to college to cover our 75% mandatory attendance. Our time is wasted going to college and sitting idle. They rush everything in the last few days and force us to write simple college tests a day before semester exams.
Other: I honestly took up psychology because I like it. But studying in this college feels like signing up to study the subjects on my own without any guidance whatsoever. The whole college needs to remove the existing staff, including office staff. Everyone is very rude to students; they need to get some good teachers who will atleast work for three years. We have only one teacher for one subject. We have only one teacher for psychology and one journalism teacher for upto six batches of students. Constantly changing teachers is leading to no stability in teaching. The events are very bad. All events include a three-hour bout of boasting the college and some very bad performances by lunch at 4. We reach the venue by 9 and food is provided at 4. When asked for some more food, they sold us. We pay for our events as usual, but when some students don't want to attend the event, they still force them to pay for it. They threaten to not give hall tickets and not consider assignments if they are not paid. Why would a student pay for an event he or she doesn't want to attend? And even after paying, they give us a proper event.

I am not happy with the guidelines of OU regarding assignments and projects.
Placements: I am in the first year. So, I don't know much about placements. I am looking forward to take a peek at the opportunities provided for all Villa Marian students during the campus placements. I've heard quite a few things about the campus placements that most of them were quite good.
Infrastructure: The academic building itself is quite spacious. Classrooms are good. An auditorium is available to conduct lectures and other programs. The library is good. Food provided in the canteen is great. A stationary shop is also available to make things easier for students. We neither have a playground nor Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and maintain a two-way environment in the classroom, which is always open to discuss anything. However, I do not appreciate the methods that are followed for assignments and projects in Osmania University since it's very monotonous and does not involve practical learning. Those are just written assignments which might be copied from an article on the internet. I think that assignments should involve research and understanding because spoon feeding the students is never proved helpful in the practical world, which the students will face once they step out of the college.

Good faculty, dissatisfied because of infrastructure, good classroom environment.
Placements: 60% students were placed the highest package was 8lpa while the lowest package was 1lpa average package was 2lpa We had placement from top companies like Amazon Deloitte and Microsoft among other various companies We did not get any internship during the course, it was only in the final year and it was not paid approximately 30% students got internship Top roles offered are journalism .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite average the B.A. classrooms are in the basement which makes the atmosphere very dark and claustrophobic Fans don't work, benches are comfortable, there is no Wi-Fi connection labs are well maintained and organised There is no in campus hostel facility .
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and helpful making the classroom environment very cheerful. The course can get better, it is little outdated The difficult level is very low, the question booklet is given and in the exam question from the same booklet are asked, 80% is the pass percentage .
Other: I chose B.A. because I want to pursue my career in journalism, the best part is the photography classes we had under this course, we were also taken to field trips. The teacher who teaches journalism is extremely good, everything is easy to understand and 10times more fun with her The classroom infrastructure can improve a lot The amount of events and fest happening are very less, the crowd is very diversified, campus is situated in the city itself soo availability of public transport is easy around the campus, there is scholarship only for sport quota, extracurricular activities are happening everyday in classroom itself and it is very fun to be a part. The college is not very strict overall but maintains to follow discipline.

It is the best college to study.
Placements: Placements were quite poor for art students when compared to other departments. Hardly, a few companies visited the campus. No internships were provided to the students. There is no placement cell in the college. Students are disappointed in terms of placements, but the quality of education is up to the mark.
Infrastructure: The college has facilities like an amazing library, well-ventilated classrooms. The campus is huge, and there are sports and games room, science labs, a mass communication lab, and a hygienic canteen which provides quality food. No hostel rooms are available. In terms of infrastructure, it's the best college in the city with all the facilities.
Faculty: Lecturers were highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable and gave us exposure to what that we need. Especially, the curriculum for arts students needs to be revised every two years as the world keeps on changing in various terms.
Other: Various in-house activities and events were conducted. The campus is quite huge and well-maintained. There will be a lot of fun at the time of fests.
