Short review of My Big College Life .

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 89%, depending on the intake of the companies that came. The highest package was 50 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.4 LPA, and the average package was 11.24 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Microsoft, etc. The internships are provided by the college itself.

Satisfied with the curriculum; dissatisfied with placements and infrastructure.

Placements: There are ongoing placements, and the college informs people that the average placements for this year (2023–24) are near about 12LPA, but what I found is that there is a little bit of a placement issue in our college. Companies are refusing to come to our college because of their past experience of 2 years as students who studied online at their college, so they don't have any basic knowledge of DSA or OS-like subjects. And by asking seniors, I found that one placement was in 52 LPA, which is ...

Satisfied with my college experience as placements are good, college campus is small.

Placements: Placements are better than other colleges for top branches like computer Science and Information technology. Also other branches are allowed for IT companies. Companies like Braclyas, JP Morgan, Nvidia, etc. Visits campus for placements. Average package of EnTC branch is around 6.5 Lacs.

I am satisfied with good placements.

Placements: Placements are very nice. The highest salary package is 37 LPA. Top recruiting companies come for placements. To get an internship we need above 7 CGPA. Too many roles are offered and are very beneficial for all.

Our college is the best for CS.

Placements: Placements are huge for CS, IT, E&TC companies that came in third year and they provide internships as well, and PPO also offer to students. Placements are low for chemical, mechanical branches as compared to other branches. Central TPO guide students about placements, etc.

The college is not worth the fee we pay.

Placements: We are a batch of 140 students divided into two divisions. Internships are compulsory for 6 months in the fourth year. IT companies offer more placements than core companies. The average package is 4-5 LPA, and many people opt for higher studies.

This review is all about VIT Pune - Vishwakarma Institute of Technology

Placements: The placement is good. While not an IIT or NIT but you can easily earn a salary of 8-10 LPA from a coding background. But at last, this is the college where people come for getting paced. If you dream big then you have to look for campus placement. In short college is average in all matters.

I am satisfied with our college, and it provides good placements.

Placements: From our college, very less percentage of students get placed due to lack of programming knowledge. The highest salary package offered here is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA-3 LPA. Nvidia Graphics and many more companies visit here for placements. Very less core electronic companies visit our campus. Approximately 50% of the students get placed, while the rest of the students opt for higher studies.

Better if you have average marks.

Placements: I am studying in the second year in ETE branch, 60% of students get placement. The highest package this year was 54.6 LPA, and the lowest was 3.2 LPA to an average student. The top recruiting company is E -Technology. 60% of students get an internship for six months.

VIT provides a good platform to excel our talent.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Every year, almost 80% of students got placed with a good salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. Every year, MNC's like Cognizant, Microsoft, Infosys, etc., visited our campus for placements. The college also provided internships to students with a good stipend. It is very useful for students.

It is an average college and is one of the best in Pune but not one of the best in India.

Placements: Placements in the college are one of the best in Pune but not in Maharashtra. The college is ranked 2nd in Pune, but only 60% of the students are not placed in core companies. You need to put extra efforts to get a core placement. The visits by companies for placements is reducing yearly for mechanical engineering branch, and only around 80-90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered in 2018 was 8 LPA. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA and the average salary package offered...

Overall, our college is good and has good placements.

Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good, but it depends on your specialisation. Reputed companies visit the college to hire the students of computer science and electronics. Placements are poor for other branches. The highest package offered by Microsoft was 37 LPA. The average package offered was 3.30 LPA.

VIT-Teaching, Learning, Extra Activities, Placement everything good. Good, Better but not the BEST.

Placements: I have never imagined that placement would be done at such a large scale. Lots of companies came with a average package of 4-4.5 LPA. The placement goes continuously throughout the year with companies like Morgan Stanley, Avaya, Barclays, Symantec, HSBC, Yardi, EQ Technologies Mu Sigma, John Deere, Cybage, ATOS, Nvidia and the list goes on so long. Mostly all the students gets placed in VIT with some rare exceptions. Along with placement VIT practices Internship modules where students go for int...

It is the second best college in Pune.

Placements: Barring IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITs and a few top government colleges like VJTI, COEP, SPCE, etc., placements at VIT are excellent. About 90% of recruiters are for computer and IT branches. Other remaining streams like electronics and telecommunication, chemical, industrial, production, instrumentation, electronics, and mechanical have average placements. The average package offered is 3 lacs per annum. It goes up to 6 lacs per annum for E&TC and 12-16 LPA for computers. Off-campus placements have b...

Placements: Around 40% of the students got placed in various companies for my batch. In this academic year, the placements were at the peak as compared to previous batches of our department. The highest package offered was 5.5 lacs per annum. The average package offered in this year was 3 lacs per annum.

Placements: 16 students have got campus placements in the current academic year 2017-2018. Various companies came for the campus placements this year which suggests that placement cell was very active this year. Companies like Alfa Laval, technoforce, Jacobs engineering came to our campus for placements.

There is a poor infrastructure, but it is good about placements.

Placements: The placements were good for my senior batch. Almost 80 % students got placed till date for that batch. The highest package was around 23.64 LPA given by a Japanese company. Morgan Stanley, Credit suits, NTT telecommunications, Microsoft, Vodafone, are some companies which have visited the college. Almost 90 percent of students got an internship from our college. Stipend offered during the internship varies from R.s 8,000-35,000 per month according to the company.

Good placements and campus, but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were around 60%. Good companies come to the college and offer good salary package. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA. The internship from college is not that much good. There is a lack of internship and industrial visits. The seniors were placed in good companies. Most of the students went for MS after engineering.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and the mechanical placements.

Placements: The placements are good. As far as computer branch is the concern, it is awesome. The mechanical branch is average. Now they have included the internship in the curriculum, so this might help. TPO is very stubborn and doesn't cooperate when necessary. He gives too early for the mechanical placement and focuses more on IT background.
