Placements: The placements are good in the college because minimum 40% of students will be placed every year from class. About 10 to 15 companies will arrive the college for placements, and they offer minimum 2 LPA to 30 LPA. The companies which arrive are Tiger, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Microland, etc.
Placements: The placements for our batch were very low since I was in mechanical engineering, there were only a few companies that came to our college such as Line Gas Company and Infosys. Our previous batches also had a few companies which visited our college. Mostly the majority of companies which visited our college were software companies, only a few were core companies. Our college has a placement cell which worked efficiently in providing specific training required to attend interviews.
Placements: The placements for our batch and previous batch are nice. Big companies and startup companies are coming for the recruitment, but the number of selected candidates are still less in number. The placement department also appreciates the off-pool campus interviews and inter-drives.
Placements: The college for the placements only consultancies are coming, and no proper core companies are coming for the placements. The students will suffer for placements as the placement department is not at all responsible, and the placement training is also not given properly to the students. The aptitude skills and interview skills will be thought in the holidays after the third year, not at all worried about students interests.
Placements: For information science, electronics and communication, and computer science branches' placements are possible compared to civil engineering. We have 2 placement coordinators for each class. The placement officer is efficiently doing his duty for the students' placement. Even our principal is trying to improve our placements by coordinating with other companies.
Placements: The placements for my batch are going on and many companies are coming for placements. Not very great companies are coming, still, the college is making an effort to get companies to the college, and I appreciate it. The placements for my seniors were also very good, and the college got many good companies for them too.
Placements: The Vemana provides 100% placement for the deserving students. The students are trained in aptitude and soft skills. The college was presented with the national employability award and the corporate employability assessment test. Mostly, the start-up companies visit here. Mostly, people get a package between 2.5- 5 Lacs. Currently, I also got an internship through the college, and I am undergoing training in the company. For more information regarding placements, please visit the college website...
Placements: The placements are improved very much when compared to past days. It is a good college. The campus is also getting the change in everything like it involves in all activities and getting the good passing percentage. When compared to previous 3-4 years, this time, more companies are coming and also placement training was held.
Placements: The placements are good in our college, and it's up to 60%. Compared to all branches, computer science and ISE are having good placements. This year, till now, the companies visited are JusPay technologies, TCS, Infosys, etc. Some other companies are yet to come. In this month, Tech Mahindra is coming, and in the month of January, Wipro is visiting our college.
Placements: The placements are average. Some 20-30 companies visit the college. Mainly, startups and small companies came to the campus, but mass recruiters are not visiting the college. The students prefer to attend pool drive for the companies like Infosys and many other reputed firms. The firms like LNT, Infotech, and MuSigma used to hire from college in the past, but unfortunately, they have not visited yet and didn't know the reason.
Placements: Our college has provided us with the best placements when compared to other passed out batches. Most of the students got the job in the campus recruitment only rather than searching for a job outside the college. Some students got the highest CTC of 6 LPA and some others got around 3-4 LPA. Many MNCs have visited our college for recruitments. Most of the students got a job in different domains like IT jobs, mechanical jobs, civil and some financial services, etc. Now, all of them are living a go...
Placements: Technical placements are good enough and could be rated 6.5 on a scale of 10 in all branches like ME, ECE, CSE, TE, ISE for the batches 2015 & 2016. Students from 65% and above were eligible to attend the interview processes. Salary starts from 1.25 LPA to 8LPA. In 2016 Cap Gemini, Infosys, Info-tech, Micro-land, HCL, West-line, Merchant Navy, Linde India visited for campus drive. The roles offered for students were mostly of system support engineer, technical support associate, software develop...
Placements: Placement-wise, the college is average. The percentage of students placed from ISE/CSE branch were around 30 to 40 %. The highest salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary package was 2 lakhs per annum. Few companies who visited this college were TCS, Infosys, L&T, Subex, HCL, Syntel, Microland etc. The roles were that of an associate software engineer and technical support. Most of the companies ask for 70% aggregate in B.E and few ask for 60% throughout. So if you are good at st...
In terms of education, it is far better than other colleges. The campus of the college is not that good. The mechanical department of our college is very good and supportive and they help the students with every problem. As far as I know the placements of the mechanical department are moderate as compared to the other departments. I think the reason for this is that Bangalore is an IT city. This is why the other departments have a good response in terms of placement.
College is good to some extent. Teaching is not that great. Campus should have been bigger of an area. But the location is just at the right place. Also, placements here is pretty good. Around 25 companies come to recruit people. Specially, information science is the best stream here. Thanks to the head of the department.
Classes are good. Lab are good. When it comes to fest or cultural activities, the support is less. Sports activities are very less. Campus is not at all good with Just a building. Canteen that we have has average food. We have good hostels in BDA. But a good place to hangout is city center and some malls around.
The college isn’t appreciable, but can be lived with. Labs are well equipped with modern apparatus, classrooms are decently maintained and the library is spacious. Although the library has a good number of books, majority are those fat books which students never even think of touching. The actually usable ones are few and are always issued to someone or the other. Also, the campus has no appropriate sporting facilities. Overall, good college as compared to some other outside city colleges.
I have graduated in B.E in ECE from Vemana I.T. College is good. Lectures are good, taught us very well and well supportive staffs, it is in the heart of city you will get convenient transportation facility, it is nearby forum mall. But there is no playground nor good canteen.
The teachers are very supportive. 75% attendance is compulsory to attend the internal and external exams. The college location is a big plus point, Forum mall, JNC road, BDA Complex all are at walkable distance from the college. In terms of placement, they try their best, but it depends on the market and many other factors too time to time as they say.
It was quiet a good experience studying in this college , teaching was good in initial year , as we had much experience staff , as they started hiring less experience staff, teaching become average . College environment was good, there was extra curricular activities also.
