Review of Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology.

Placements: Every year, around 75% of students were placed. But the college does not provide any training for the placements, so start preparing for the placement from the 2nd year. Top recruiter companies only take 4 to 5 students while mass recruiter like Accenture hires around 30 in MCA.

Good infrastructure, great teachers, but follows Mumbai University curriculum.

Placements: Due to the pandemic, placements took a hit. Around 8% of the students were placed in the Department of Instrumentation (as of semester 7). The highest package offered was 6.8 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was 3.8 Lacs per annum. So far, the top recruiting companies have been LnT, LTI, Accenture, and Capgemini. As per Mumbai University's rule, the college does not promote or support Internships during the semester.

It is great for studies with extracurricular activities.

Placements: Our college has a very good record of placements, and all of the students get placed at the end through campus pool or last option off-campus. Many companies visit our college for placements like Accenture, CarWale, TCS, Burns, Honeywell, etc. There is a college internship where students can apply and learn many things.

Good College but not the Best College.

Placements: The placement cell is okay. They arranged a special placement cell for students scoring less than 60%. But only one or two companies were arranged for special placement cell. The number of placement this year was less than before and the unemployment rate is even higher. Only Accenture is a mass recruiter here rest companies only take 2 to 3 students maximum. The average salary was 3 to 4 LPA and 40% of students were placed.

Fairly good faculty and good placements. One of the best options if you want to study in Mumbai.

Placements: Placements in VESIT were fairly good. Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, regularly visited the campus for placements. The college has location advantage of Mumbai city. Many small and mid-level companies visit the campus for placements. At my time, the average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Same was the case with our senior batch. Every year, almost 60-70% of the batch gets placed. Almost all companies offer IT roles. Computer science and IT students are better off in this situation,...
