VNIT Nagpur, placements, hostel, and curriculum review.

Placements: Around 78% of the students were placed in campus placements this year. The highest placement offered in civil engineering was 20 lacs, which was from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. The lowest package, or I can say the average package offered in my college or in my course, is around 11 lacs. The top recruiting companies are BPCL, ZS Associates, and Larsen and Toubro. Around 50% of the students got internships from companies that came to recruit. The top roles offered in the companies are e...

An underrated college with supportive faculty. Placements are very good.

Placements: In Architecture, there are very few students who got placed. You can take a guess: 10 out of only 2 students got placed. Not many major companies come for placements. Students have to find internships on their own, but faculty members also help. There are so many opportunities in this course.

It is really a bad decision to take admission here. Faculty are the worst, not cooperative.

Placements: My batch is not passed out yet. Once it is done, I will update soon. But previous batch. Placement was not satisfactory. It's really hard to score an 8 CGPA. The highest package was around 27 Lacs, and the percentage of placed students is really very low. Thank you.

College is good. It is an institute of national importance.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Most recruitment is done by ZS, JSW, Jindal Steel, Birla, and Varroc. Only a few students got internships at our college. Most students have to look outside. Top roles offered are a consultant and view engineer.

The college is more academic-oriented than extracurricular activities.

Placements: From the past two to three years of recession, the placements everywhere decreased gradually but since this year, the placements at VNIT Nagpur College are slightly getting better and better as compared to past years. The placement percentage of students is, however, less but the average package is good.

No. Generally for getting a good branch in NITs that are out of home state 200+ is must. Since, you have two advantages, home state as well as OBC NCL be sure to at least score 150+ in JEE mains. You will get your desired branch in VNIT.
