The fee is high but can be reduced using scholarships.

Placements: In my course, the placement rate is 85%. The highest package is 29 lakhs pa and the average package is 3.5 lakhs pa.Top recruiting companies are ITC, TAJ hotels, etc. Some students are also doing virtual internships or remote jobs. So it is a good graduation course if you want a job.

One of the top colleges in Manipal.

Placements: Some of my friends have already gotten some non-technical jobs like HR interns, CS executives, etc. We are now sitting on off-campus placements. The highest placement package is INR 20 LPA in 2022. Big brands like ITC, TAJ, etc. are recruiting. Placement percentage is 85%, and you can also choose higher studies.

It is a very safe college for female students.

Placements: One of the best colleges in Karnataka. The placement cell and the teachers in this part are very helpful. They send regular emails and WhatsApp messages about our interview opportunities. We are now sitting in placement drives. Until now, approximately 20 companies have come. I am waiting for more.

High course fees but premium education facilities.

Placements: The placements are better than at other colleges. Normally, the course fee is very high, but they also provide very good support to make us eligible for the placements. We are ready to join the company. The highest package this year was INR 20 LPA, and the lowest one was INR 3 LPA. But if a student is good, he or she will get good chances.

One of the best colleges for culinary arts.

Placements: It is an amazing college, I can say, because you will get a lot of opportunities. Great place to learn. The highest placement package is INR 20 LPA, and the lowest package is INR 3 LPA, but the college trains us very well for the opportunities. The course is very relevant as per current market demands.

Very good college in Karnataka.

Placements: Our course is academic, but in Manipal, we get end-to-end support for placements from the first semester. The highest LPA till now is INR 10 LPA, and the lowest is INR 5.2 LPA, as per the data provided by our college. I am trying for some part-time jobs or internships.

I am here from the outside state.

Placements: The placement process is very well organized. The highest package is INR 29 LPA, and the lowest is INR 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Jain Software, Customer Care Executive, etc. Our seniors are working for multiple MNCs. I am currently doing an internship. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very good college in Manipal.

Placements: Our college is very active in terms of placements. They give us training in the 2nd year for the interviews, like mock interviews, placement training, aptitude classes, etc. The highest package from our college is INR 24 LPA (CTC). But I will opt out for higher studies.

Best college in the Manipal area.

Placements: Our college charges the highest fees for B.A. courses compared to other colleges and government colleges. This is not just a B.A. course; there are also opportunities after the course. The highest LPA after this course was INR 6 LPA in 2023, and some students also got internships.

One of the best colleges in Karnataka.

Placements: The college placements are good, but my father has a business, so I came here just to complete my college degree. But the placements are good at our college. The highest package hit the record of INR 12 LPA last year. Currently, I am doing an internship in virtual and remote mode.

It is a great college and a great place to be in.

Placements: There are about 200 students in my batch. The packages offered are good after graduation. Top recruiting companies are ITC, Oberoi Groups, Taj etc. All kinds of chef and hotel jobs are offered but with low packages at the start. Gradually, it will increase. It is a great course.

Review of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

Placements: I am not much aware of placements here as I'm about to get into 2nd year, and I haven't been a part of the placement process yet. But many companies like Taj, Qatar, ITC, etc., offered internships. I feel the interviews and selections could give students a tough time, but WGSHA prepares you for that.

Really good infrastructure .

Placements: The students with 65% and above were given admissions here. There a lot of recruiting companies like ITC, TAJ etc. Around 85% of the students get selected to work in the companies after recruitment. Some of them also just decided to start their own restaurant chain or a cloud kitchen.

It is the best college in every aspect.

Placements: Taj, ITC, and Mariott are the few companies that recruited students. Most of the students got selected except for a few. About 80% of students got selected and all directly started to work as manager or station chef. Most students are to undergo a lot of tests and go through some challenges.

I'm satisfied with the college.

Placements: The college placements are pretty good. There's a very tough competition for getting a good placement from the college itself. As far as I know, only 4 out of the whole batch got selected for the trade test that happened in our college. The top companies would be Taj, Marriott, ITC, and Oberoi.

Review of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA).

Placements: Our college provides the best placements, and almost all the big companies visit here for the campus. You have to be the best at academics to score a management trainee position. ITC, Oberoi, Accor, Taj, Marriot and retail chains such as McD are amongst the top companies coming for placements to the institution.

A great college with wonderful faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are really good. All the faculty members are helpful, and our new principal, Chef Thiru sir is taking placements and internships to the next level by inviting many more companies and hotel chains. Many students got selected through campus placements.

WGSHA best decision of my life till date.

Placements: Well, a lot of companies come to Wgsha to appoint them as their future managers. But the real truth is that they only heir a few people for example if ITC comes to WGSHA out of a batch of 250 people only 2-4 people have the chances to get pass through phase 1 of the placement process.

Placements: The placements at our college are pretty promising. They train us on the basis of practical knowledge and the requirements of the industry. They make sure that we are well prepared for the best hotels around the globe. Placements here are in the best 5-star luxury hotels.
