With less percentile hoping for a good college, it is a good place with average packages.
Placements: Students get placements from the 3rd year onwards in our college. From the 4th semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies like Godrej Infotech, Newfold Digital, Zycus, Acron, L&T Finance, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered till now this year is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Around 85% of students got placed. Many students choose to go for higher studies. My plan after getting a degree is to go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. We switch to different classrooms according to different lectures. Labs are well-equipped. Lecturers are held regularly. The library is good with various books. Washrooms are clean. There is a good quality water filter that provides both normal and cold water. We have 3 beautiful turfs and one basketball court which you can use anytime, mainly students play after college. You can play cricket, football, basketball, badminton, carrom, chess, and table tennis. You don't need to wear ID cards. The college is well-maintained in terms of infrastructure. There's no hostel.
Faculty: There are good teachers. Both the teaching and non-teaching staff are helpful and kind. Teachers of the IT department are good at teaching and each one has either done a master's or Ph.D. in their fields. In the First year, one teacher teaches two different classes. Faculty members are quite good by nature. They are good at teaching also. Each one of them teaches well and has good teaching experience. We have a total of 3 exams before the final semester exam. The first two are IAT exams (Internal assessment tests). This course gives you theoretical knowledge, but you have to work hard to get your desired job.
Other: Our college accepts admission through government quota I. e. Cap round and JEE Main percentile. As of 2024, the MH-CET cutoff was 94%. The Catholic minority can get admission easily. I was interested in computer coding and by CAP got into this college. The curriculum is old designed so honestly, we have to develop more skills on our own. The college teachers help us with it when asked. The curriculum should be updated. We are going to learn C language, Python, and Java. Instead, I think we should have C+ language, Python, and Java. Fests are conducted by both tech and non-tech.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 96% of students get placed in good companies. The placement process can get a little slow at times, but eventually, every student gets the opportunity to sit for the placements. Our college also provides training courses to help students train for the aptitude tests and so on.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, with Wi-Fi available throughout the campus for free. Labs are clean and equipped with good machines and high-speed internet connections. Besides this, other facilities like printers, projectors, smart boards, etc., are also available for students to use at any time of the day.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, especially in the IT department. They are helpful. Proper question banks are provided before the exam so that students can prepare well.
Other: Our college organises several events, from sports to cultural activities, throughout the year. Students are also motivated to take part in everything.

CSE course from the Xavier Institute offers good faculty and facilities to the students.
Placements: Xavier Institute provides best placements opportunities to its students. In the CSE branch, around 40–45% of the students gets placed at this college. The average package offered at the college was between 3 and 6 LPA. The top recruiters in this college were Infosys, North Ladder, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. The top roles offered in the course were software developers, web developers, etc.
Infrastructure: The Xavier Institute had really good infrastructure for computer science. The labs of the college had properly working computers for the students programming practice. The library of the college was well stocked. The entire college campus had a Wi-Fi facility. Other necessary facilities, like a hostel, canteen, sports and medical facilities, were available for the college students.
Faculty: The faculty of the Xavier Institute was really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The professors were making us understand all the concepts easily. The teaching quality at this college was good. The course curriculum followed at this college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready.

It is value for money with decent placements and great teaching staff.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed, and around 20% of students get placed with salary package of 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The top recruiting company is Quantiphi which recruits for roles like business analyst, framework engineer. Internships are mostly through student's own efforts and not through this college this is one disadvantage. A lot of students found internships through online portals and personal contacts, to conclude BE in information technology if completed from XIE with good marks and decent technical skills can fetch students a good IT role with a 6 LPA at least which is a good start for a fresher.
Infrastructure: Although the infrastructure for this college classrooms and laboratories are decent with high-speed internet connectivity everywhere. The classrooms do no have air-conditioning which makes it hard to beat Mumbai heat sometimes. Other than that laboratories have appropriate machines and other tools required. This college also has a good canteen and common area to sit, relax, and eat. This college does not have a hostel facility.
Faculty: The biggest advantage of XIE is the helpful faculty members as they are always ready to help and are passionate about teaching and helping the students achieve good scores and enhance their skills at the same time. The curriculum course is relevant and the laboratories provide good hands-on experience with at least two mini projects each semester that help students work with new technologies.
Other: I chose this course because of the placements and Mumbai University affiliation. The best thing is the teaching staff and placements support. The infrastructure can be improved along with providing additional support to secure internships not just jobs. The cultural and technical fests are great with low of crowd and events. There are many extracurricular activities like TEDxXIE, NSS, CSX, etc.

It has a decent infrastructure. It has good placements and helpful facilities.
Placements: Above 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is above 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Jio, Accenture, etc., visit the college for placements. About 20-30% of students got an internship from reputed companies. We get to know about various financial aspects.
Infrastructure: There are great facilities in our college. It also has a great infrastructure. It has a full range of Wi-Fi for the students as well as teachers. It has a library, playground, canteen, indoor games court, etc. I have no idea about the hostel. A first aid kit is available on every floor.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They always used to encourage us and spread great information. The course curriculum is relevant. Semesters exams are quite easy as they provide a question bank before the exams, and students find a way easy to score great marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Our college organises a fest named Spandan with a lot of games and functions. A scholarship for first-year students was given by our college director.
