The daily activities kept us engaged and helped to hone our skills.
Placements: There is a placement committee at the university that immensely helps students regarding all placements and internship issues. The highest international package was 46.7 LPA, the highest domestic package was 15.3 LPA, the average package was 12.5 LPA, and the median package was 10.3 LPA in 2023.
Infrastructure: Faculty members provide many details. Mess is very nice in college. The food coming to college is of very good quality. The registration process is very simple for this college-coming hostel. The hostel warden will give you a room The rent for a hostel is INR 15,000 per semester. Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty members are too good here. They have graduated from reputed universities. The curriculum is related to rural sectors. I have chosen the course because I want to explore the rural development sector. There will be a trimester within the year. Exams are hard to pass if you do not study properly. Class Size: 130 Course Fees: INR 120000 per year.

Good faculty, decent placements but has a potential to do better.
Placements: In the final placements for the 2018-2020 batch 124 students had participated in the placement process. The highest package offered was 22.47 lacs, the lowest was 8.5 lacs. Top recruiters included firms from the manufacturing sector and IT sector. Mean CTC was 12.87 lacs and median CTC was 12.09 lacs. For the summer internships of 2019-21 batch the highest stipend offered was 2 lacs, the median was 85K and average was 90K.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The classrooms are well-equipped with the latest technical tools. Wi-Fi is accessible anywhere within the campus. Library is equipped with all the books, journals, magazines, newspapers ( Mint, Hindu, Business Standard, TOI, Economic times) and we also have 4 bloomberg terminals. There is a provision for single rooms and twin sharing rooms. The rooms are spacious, however, there is no RO purifier in the hostels which is the reason why many people fall sick. The mess has options for meal and ala care and there is night mess available tim 2 AM. The food like any other hostel is average. Medical service is available, doctor is present there every evening and there is a sick room available as well. Recently, the international center was inaugurated. It has dedicated badminton court and a basketball court. The college has a huge basketball court, 2 gymnasiums, tennis court and badminton court and a football ground.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are extremely qualified. We have visiting faculty members from XLRI as well. Also, XIMB faculty members visit the new campus to teach HR students. There are amazing learning opportunities here. Except some, there are some industry leaders who conduct workshops and classes in the second year that gives better insights into how the industry works.
Other: I chose the course because I wanted to pursue a specialised course in HRM and the course structure and design of XAHR is in accordance with SHRM. I wish that the school gets accredited soon. Also, the dean in trying to rope in better faculty members this academic year. We have our annual fest Xamboree, there are a lot of committees which students can join to keep themselves engaged and add value. You will make some amazing friends here, the crowd is curious and competitive. The campus is huge, amazing and the city is around 18kms. There is a bus stop right outside the campus, from where you can get a bus to the city every half an hour. You can also track the bus via an app called MObus.

It is a decent college with a good record.
Placements: I am from 2019-2021 batch. As per the placements report of this year, i.e., 2019, all 123 students got placed. Varied profiles are offered related to human capital consulting, talent acquisitions, learning development, etc. The highest salary package was offered by DE Shaw, i.e., 28 LPA, while the average salary package offered was around 12.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our course are Reliance, Deloitte, Arcesium, Tata Steel, etc. All the first-year students also got placed with an average salary of Rs. 72,000 per month. Above mentioned companies only visit here for SIP.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is world-class, and it is a fully digitalised campus. There are central air-conditioning classrooms with 24x7 electric supply. Hostel rooms are clean and are equipped with 24x7 Wi-Fi facility and high-speed internet facility. There are a central library, auditorium and many more, and the quality of the food served here is above average with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. But the food served is costly.
Faculty: Teachers here are very learned. They all are PhD holders from top universities and are experts in their own fields. They are from XLRI, IIMs, NITIE, NITs, etc. Visiting faculty members who teach here are also from top tier MBA colleges. Experts from the industry also visit here to provide industry recent trend things.
Other: I chose this course because it has a specialised HR programme, along with an MBA degree and is one of the best in India. Our campus has a location disadvantage, but this doesn't hinder the placements as it already got a reputation. Our college organises an annual fest named Xamboree this year, which is one of the best times of the year.

Academic rigour and things to ponder over.
Placements: 1. 100% students got placements. 2. The highest salary -27.5 LPA, Average -13 LPA was offered to the students. 3. 100% people bagged internship. A wide things to learn about here with curriculum being rigorous which helps you to mould your career into a true professional and gear up for a challenging corporate world waiting outside.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well built with a big campus. Food in the mess I a thing to worry about some point of the time as it gets to be quite monotonous. Being away from the city, transport is an issue and immediate availability of necessities and health care is a thing to consider.
Faculty: The teacher are well trained and have relative experience in their profession. Being from among the best management institutes they try to deliver the best of knowledge through video lectures, real life examples, case studies and many other measures. The curriculum is rigorous and designed to make you situation ready all the time.
Other: Xavier is always known for its HR course and has been the forerunner in it all the time. I had an active interest in studying about things related to human aspect. Apart from the academics, college conducts its cultural fest which is one of the biggest management fest.

Decent College for MBA with good faculty members and good placements.
Placements: In our last to last batch, we had 100 % placement and the salary ranges were between 8-15 Lacs give or take depending on the experience you are carrying. Top recruiting companies varies year to year depending on their requirements but the big 4's in HR remains constant. Since modern world is getting more agile and data driven, top companies are also preferring that roles and looking for smart individuals. All of our students got internship in different companies ranging from big 4's to the banks and even the startups also offered a handsome package to the students for their internship.
Infrastructure: We have git decent infrastructure for our college with adequate facilities to quench our thirst for knowledge with 24 hrs library, computer labs and modern classrooms, The facilities in our hostel is okay providing single room and double occupancies with common bathrooms facilitated with hot water facilities. The food available is okay but they provide us with variety of food items all week long. We also have the facility of night mess. For sports also there is sufficient scope in our college with all designated grounds for every sport and good quality equipments for everything. We also have medical facilities but the timing of doctor availability needs attention and our college must revamp all medical facilities.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and they qualified enough and also well versed and well experienced ranging from XLRI, Iims qualification. They teach good but there are some teachers in some subjects which do not give their best but the management is taking appropriate action to counter it and improve the teaching quality. Yes the course curriculum is relevant benchmarking with top Iims and thus making us industry ready but the final toll has to paid by the students only to mould themselves according to the changing world.
Other: I choose HR because I am interested in recruitment and selection. The best thing is we get to form the company in bits and pieces and what HR's do is the most important background work in making or breaking the company. As of now there is no suggestions from my side to improve this course as this is self sufficient. Our college also sponsors gamuts of events, fests that are facilitated by different student committees. In short here are a variety of opportunities to increase our extra curricular activities. Only disadvantage is the campus which is very distant from the city and there are also very few shops around us any special needs, we need to go the city to fulfill it.

Satisfied because of faculty and decent placements.
Placements: There is 100 % placement for 123 students in the year of 2019. Roles offered are HR Executive, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development etc. The highest package was 27.5 LPA by D. E. Shaw and average package was 12.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Delloite, ICICI, Reliance, ITC, CBC, BD, Gail etc. There was 100 % placement for Summer internship as well.
Infrastructure: There is a full fledged digital class room with projectors, centralized Air conditioner, a library and auditorium. There are hostels with single and double sharing hostels with play ground, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball, indoor sports complex etc. There is a mess facility for catering services.
Faculty: Pedagogy here is very well thought and well designed with various leadership talks, sessions from various industry experts, projects and assignments on the subjects have been helpful. All the teachers are Ph.D. holder and the visiting faculty members comes from prestigious b-schools all over the country.
Other: I chose it because it is of the lucrative courses and one among the best colleges that I have converted. Bringing in more industry experts and for their insights and experiences in real corporate world would give a better experience. There were many events, b-fest, leadership summit held through out the year that are quite enriching.

What that percentile converts for a score is debatable but anything in the range of 70's is safe enough. The above information is only to give you an idea regarding the cutoff. It ma
