Really good college but not that great campus life.
Placements: Yenepoya University in Bangalore is a new college that was started just last year. The college has no previous placement history. But the main university campus in Bangalore has a good history of placements and provides students with various opportunities. Everyone hopes for the same thing off campus. As of now, the placement cell is working continuously to attract more companies to this particular college.
Infrastructure: Yenepoya provides high-quality classrooms with high teaching facilities. The classroom has centralized AC. Wi-Fi is available for students 24/7 with high-speed internet. Yenepoya also provides a library with a wide variety of books. We also have a computer lab. Sports and games, both indoors and outdoors, are conducted regularly. The hostel is below average. Proper electricity, water and food quality and quantity are very bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Moreover, the faculty members are very friendly, except for a few. Teaching quality is good but not the best. The course curriculum is relevant to today's society. The management made changes to the syllabus by adding add-on courses like AI and cloud computing and creating better opportunities for students. Also, the training programs by MNCs like Meta, IBM and TCS makes students industry-ready.
Other: The best thing about the course is the add on courses the college provide along with the main degree. AI and cloud computing along with other choose able add on courses helps students like me to select the one I like the most and good for me. Also, the MNC training helps the student learn more about the industry they are going to work in. The college conducts events and festivals, and even though it is a new campus, it has a strength of almost 3000 students in different courses and programs. Colleges have better connectivity to the outside world and provide scholarship opportunities for students with good marks on their previous graduation exams.

Awesome Infrastructure, Dissatisfied with College Events
Placements: Our Bangalore campus is a new branch of our parent college in Bangalore, so we don’t know the placement rate for our campus yet. But colleges in Bangalore have a good placement rate. The main companies are IBM, TCS, and Microsoft, as per the information from the office. The focus is on AI, cloud computing, and DevOps, with AI being taught to us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is beyond my expectations. The college maintains international standards. Unlike other Indian colleges (except a few), the interior and exterior of our college are very clean and neat, and they also provide international services for students. Wi-Fi is not available to everyone. At first, they provided Wi-Fi, but then gradually they took it from us. Not many people opt for hostels; 90% of the people prefer PGs and rooms outside the campus.
Faculty: Not many teachers are highly educated; some have just passed their degree courses and are teaching in college. But some are well-educated and knowledgeable. They help us a lot by providing study notes for semester exams. The course curriculum is designed in a way that everyone can understand just by looking at the provided PPTs. Semester exams are not that hard, and we can score high. Almost 70% of the students passed their exams, while the other 30% passed in their supplementary exams.
Other: I chose this course because of the future of AI. In the coming years, there will be huge scope in AI, so I picked this course. The best things in my course are all three add-ons I took, which are great for the future—AI, cloud computing, and DevOps. Our college conducts programs at very low cost because of space shortage and other factors. They conducted a program near our college at a school’s ground, and it was awesome. They brought many programs, and the last two days were the best, where Mallu rappers performed.
