Q: Is it easy to crack DAT?
DAT entrance exam is considered to be moderate. IN NID DAT, more weightage is given to subjective, drawing related questions. Thus, candidates need to be extremely creative and have a clear understanding of their concepts when appearing for the DAT.

The online application form for NIFT 2025 is OPEN with regular fees from November 22-January 6, 2025.
With late fees, applications will be accepted from Janaury 7-9, 2025.

The written tests for the NIFT 2025 exam will be held on February 9, 2025. The detailed schedule has also been released.
The written tests will comprise a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for B. Des and M. Des candidates.
The GAT test will be considered in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT will be offline based. Note that scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.
Q: When do I need to start my preparation for NIFT 2025 exam?
The NIFT exam is among the competitive and is also considered among the toughest. So, it is recommended that the candidate starts their exam preparation well in advance, say with around 1 years time in hand. Note that the NIFT exam has various components like written exam and Situation Test /Personal Interview. Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses need to prepare for both the CAT and GAT. The CAT is a drawing-based exam, meaning the candidate will be evaluated on parameters like intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development, and design ability. Now unless the candidate is already well-versed, developing these skills will take time. So, it is prudent to start early. The same goes for the GAT.
Q: When will the application forms for NID 2025 be released?
NID application form 2025 opened on September 3, 2024. The application form is open online at the NID admission portal -admissions.nid.edu. Candidates who meet the program-specific eligibility criteria may apply before the last date.
The NID application form is for admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses offered by participating colleges.
The last date to apply for NID DAT 2025 is December 6, 2024 (extended from December 3). The candidate can also edit the submitted application from December 4-9, 2024.
The NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) exam will be conducted on January 5, 2025.

Q: When will the NID DAT 2025 Prelims exam be conducted?
The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the DAT Prelims exam on January 5, 2025.
The B.Des exam will be held from 10 am - 1 pm; meanwhile, the M.Des exam will be held from 10 am - 12.30 am.
The DAT Prelims for the B.Des programme will be conducted in a paper-and-pencil/pen mode. The question paper may incude both textual and visual questions. Other details like duration of the exam, marking scheme, etc. will be published in the DAT Prelims admit card.
The candidate needs to report for the exam at 8 am. Gates closing time is 9.30 am.
The DAT Prelims exam for the M.Des programme will be conducted offline and include a mix of objective and subjective questions. The paper will have a total of 100 questions.
Q: Who can participate in the WWI Personal Interview?
Candidates who qualify in the WWI 2025 written exam will next have to appear in a Personal Interview. The list of eligible candidates will be publised on the admission portal.
Note that is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the stages of the WWI entrance exam. Or else the candidate will not be included in the merit list.
Q: What is the eligibility criteria for UCEED 2025?
To appear in the UCEED 2025 exam, the candidate needs to meet the following criteria:
Age limit: The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000. In the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of 5 years.
Number of attempts - A candidate is allowed to appear in UCEED exam for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
Academic requirements - The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam in 2024. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the exam year may also apply. Also, note that students from all streams are eligible for UCEED 2025.
Q: What is the application fee for UCEED 2025 exam?
The application form for UCEED 2025 has opened. As per the official notification, the application fee has been revised.
Here we provide the category-wise UCEED application fee.
- Female candidates (all categories) and SC/ST/PwD candidates had to pay INR 2,000.
- All other candidates needed to pay INR 4,000 as the application fee.
Mode of fee payment
The fee has to be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Note that the UCEED application fee is no-refundable. This means, once the fee is paid, it will not be refunded whether you appear in the UCEED 2025 exam or not.
ADEPT Selection Process 2025
If you are applying for ADEPT, you must know the entire admission or selection process through which you can get admission to the BDes or MDes course offered by Anant National University. This ADEPT admission process is mentioned below:
1. ADEPT Online Exam
Firstly, you need to take the Ananat Design Entrance Proficiency Test (ADEPT), which is an online test.
It contains 100 MCQs that needs to be solved within 90 minutes.
The test has the following three sections:
- Logical Thinking
- General Awareness/ Current Affairs
- Design Knowledge
2. ADEPT Situation Test
In this section, there will be two rounds: Essay / Précis Writing and Sketching Skills.
In the Essay / Précis Writing round, candidates will be provided with two topics, they need to write an essay of 300 words on one of the two topics.
For Sketching Skills round, they will have to submit a handmade sketch related to the topic selected for the essay.
3. ADPT Interview - Personal Interview
This will be the final round for ADEPT for which candidates will have to appear in an online interview.
Note: All the admission rounds of ADEPT mentioned above are conducted online.
Q: When will the IIAD entrance exam be conducted?
The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) will conduct the IIAD 2025 exam December 27 & 29, 2024 (Online) and December 27, 2024 (Offline). The exam will be conducted in Online and Offfline modes.
The candidate can select the mode of the exam at the time of filling out the IIAD 2025 application form. Note that the IIAD DAT is conduted multiple times in the year.
Q: What will be the exam pattern of IIAD exam?
The IIAD 2025 exam has two parts - IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) and Studio Simulation. However, those seeking admission to Fashion Management courses need to appear in the IIAD Management Aptitude Test (iMAT) and Interview. The exam will be conducted in online and on-campus modes.
The candidate needs to strictly follow the exam pattern when preparing for the exam.
Q: When will the UCEED 2025 application form open?
The application form for UCEED 2025 is now closed.
The last date to apply with regular fee was October 31; with late fees, applications were accepted till November 18, 2024.
IIT Bombay opened the application form for UCEED 2025 on October 1, 2024. It also launched a new website and released the admission notification.

The IICD 2025 entrance exam will be conducted by January 25, 2025. The exam will have three parts - Part A - General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test and, Part B – a. Material, Color & Conceptual Test, b. Personal Interview, and C. Personal Interview.
The results of the IICD 2025 exam will be declared on February 21, 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the exam are eligible for admission and need to subnmit the semester fees online.

It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the stages of the IICD 2025 entrance exam. If the candidate misses out on any of the above exams, he or she will not be included in the IID 2025 merit list, which will be used for counseling and seat allotment.
