Candidates must be passed Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five ubjects. Candidates must have 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of technical Education. Candidates should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disability (PWD) categories.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test that is Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the college.
Situation Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for situation test based on the score obtained in CAT and GAT.
Counselling
Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in CAT/ GAT or situation test score and performance in group discussion/ personal interview. Selection parameters and weightages: CAT: 50% GAT: 30% Situation Test: 20% For candidates belonging to Foreign Nationals / SAARC / NRI category, admission is on the basis of SAT score. Glad to choose the college for Knitwear Design.

Placements: Almost 80-85% of the students in our course were successfully placed in previous years. Graduate salaries are quite promising, almost equivalent to 14 LPA. The average package ranges between 4.5 to 5 LPA. Around 85% of students obtain internship offers in Tata Group, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Myntra, Future Group, etc. After the training period, students can easily get placed as knitwear designers, quality controllers, and costume designers for the entertainment industry.

Infrastructure: We have cutting-edge technologies like 3D printers, laser-cutting machines, Shimla Seiki computerized knitting machines, and other relevant equipment to carry out experiential work. Proper demonstration of the use and handling of the machines is given by the technical assistants prior to work. Besides the curriculum, students can also perform recreational activities like playing cricket, volleyball, etc., in the Kund (large open space), sit, and enjoy good food in the food court.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college have completed their doctoral studies in the field of fashion. They take assignments, quizzes, and presentations on a regular basis to test the understanding and involvement of the students in the lectures. The course curriculum is up-to-date and equips us with industry knowledge.

A great college for admission in Knitwear Design.

Placements: The placement rate at our college ranges from 90 to 93%. The top-notch recruiters are Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Zara, H&M, Myntra, Ajio, Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, etc. Students from our department receive paid internship offers worth rupees 5 to 7 LPA. The internship rate, which is around 85%, is also high.

Infrastructure: The campus has cozy green lawns, bustling with life. The old foyer, designed with modern infrastructure, stands tall at the entrance, providing a place for sitting and relaxing. There is a huge open space called Kund for playing volleyball and cricket. Wi-Fi speed is quite fast throughout the campus. One can easily cherish the good food available at the cafeteria during recess hours.

Faculty: The four-year undergraduate programme in Knitwear Design establishes critical minds and dynamic market orientation among students. It gives us in-depth knowledge about Flat Knits, Circular Knits, and Computerized knitting. Top fashion design college in Delhi.

Placements: I am a student in knitwear at nift, Delhi. 90% of students were placed in our batch. The highest package offered was 11-12 LPA. The lowest package offered was around 6 LPA, and the minimum package was around 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are reebook, aditya birla fashion, nike etc. From our college.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college is good. All classrooms decorate, labs are well-equipped, and our college campus and hostel has wi-fi coverage. We have access to all types facilites, also have a canteen and mess. Medical facilities was available in our college.

Faculty: Our department members are very helpful. Our teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is always good. The semester exams are difficult but our teachers give their valuable suggestion. Every years 85% of students were passed.

Good college, known for its placement, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Our college stands among the top Fashion Institutes in India because of its exceptional on-campus placement offers. Brands like Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. , Raymond and labels like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra etc. Are the notable employers that hire us and give us internship opportunities. The highest salary package went up to 14LPA and the average lies between 4-5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The uninterrupted internet facility, the lush green lawns, the cutting-edge infrastructure - all make our campus very opulent and student-friendly. The quality of the food served in the cafeteria is good. Hostel rooms are very clean. We also have medical rooms in case of emergency.

Faculty: Our college has around 70 full-time faculty members and 13 professors who are very knowledgeable and supportive. Their teaching quality is beyond words. Semester exams are moderate difficult. However, the teachers are always ready to give extra classes as and when needed.
