CEED scorecard 2025 - IIT Bombay will release the scorecard of CEED 2025 on March 10; the last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2025.
The CEED 2025 results will be declared on March 5, 2025.
The candidate can download the scorecard by logging into the result portal using your registered email ID and password.
Hard copies of the scorecard will not be sent to the candidate. Â
The scorecards will be released for all candidates who appear in the CEED 2025 exam. However, Part-B score, Total Marks, and Merit Rank (s) will be released ONLY for candidates who meet the Part-A UCEED qualifying marks.
If the candidate fails to qualify Part A, his or her scorecard will only include the Part A score.
The CEED 2025 merit rank will be prepared by considering the total CEED 2025 score, which in turn will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B.

Q: Â Can I download the CEED 2025 scorecard at the time of the declaration of exam results?
The results of CEED 2025 will be declared on March 5, 2025.
Meanwhile, the scorecard will be available for download from March 10, 2025 (onward). So, you won’t be able to download the scorecard at the time of declaration of CEED 2025 results.
The scorecard will be released online at the CEED 2025 - IIT Bombay admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. You can download the scorecard by logging into the scorecard-download portal using your email id and password.
In case of candidates who have qualified Part A, the CEED 2025 scorecard will include details like Part A & Part B marks, Open and category-wise merit ranks.
Q: Â When will the CEED 2025 result be declared?
IIT Bombay will declare the results of CEED 2025 on March 5, 2025. The result will be declared online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portals using their log-in id.
Note that hard copies of the result will not be sent to the candidate.
The CEED 2025 results will be released for all candidates who appear in the design entrance exam. However, the CEED 2025 merit rank will only be issued to candidates who qualify for Part A and are shortlisted.
Also, you will be able to download the scorecards from March 10, 2025 (onward).

You will be redirected a log in window
Enter your email id and date of birth
On successful log-in, you can download the scorecard of CEED 2025.
The scorecard is valid for a period of one years. The candidate can use the scorecard to get admission into participating and result-sharing institutes of CEED 2025.

Q: Â Will IIT Bombay send hard copies of CEED 2025 scorecard?
The scorecard of CEED 2025 will be issued only in online mode. The candidate has to download it from the CEED 2025 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in by entering your email id and password. IIT Bombay will not send any hard copies of the score card to the candidate.
The scorecard will be available for download only for a limited period of time. The scorecard can be downloaded from the March 10 to June 11, 2025.
The validity of the scorecard is one year from the date of its release.
Q: Â If I fail to qualify Part A, will I be issued the CEED 2025 scorecard?
The score card of CEED 2025 will be issued to all candidates who will appear in the CEED 2025 exam. So, even if you have failed to qualify Part A, you can download the scorecard.
But note that in this case, the scorecard will only include the qualifying status and Part A marks. Part B marks, Total marks, and merit ranks will only be issued to qualified candidates. Also, only such candidates who have been assigned a merit rank can participate in the counseling process conducted by participating institutes.
CEED 2025 FINAL score
The final score of CEED 2025 would be prepared by allotting:
- 25 percent weightage to Part A marks
- 75 percent weightage to Part B scores.

Q: Â When will the admission cut-off of CEED be released?
IIT Bombay only releases the qualifying cut-off of CEED Part A. It will, however, not release any admission cut-off.
The qualifying cut-off for Part A will be released on February 6, 2025. The cut-off will be released in the form of Mean Deviation and Standard Deviation.
The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (CEED 2024) were 41.90 and 16.72, respectively.
Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate meets the Part A cut-off.
Meanwhile, the admission cut-off would be released by individual participating institutes at the time of seat allotment. The admission cut-off is the minimum score one needs to get admission.
Q: Â Will I be allocated a CEED 2025 merit rank if I do not qualify Part A?
IIT Bombay will release the Part A cut-off marks for CEED 2025 on February 6, 2025.
The Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate meet Part A cut-off, or in other words qualifies Part A. If the candidate fails to qualify Part A, his Part B answer booklet will not be evaluated.
Consequently, he will not be allocated a merit rank, total score, and Part B marks.
So, if you want to be assigned a merit rank, you need to meet the cut-off score for Part A and get shortlisted. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of CEED 2025 results.
Note that if you are not allocated a merit rank, you will not be eligible to participate in CEED 2025 counseling and seat-allotment process.

Q: Â What is the difficulty level of CEED?
CEED is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Des program. The difficulty level of the exam is typically moderate to high.
But note that the difficulty level may vary from year to year.
In the last edition of the exam, Part A moderately difficult, whereas Part B was moderate. These inputs were shared by candidates who appeared in the entrance exam.

Q: Â Will IIT Bombay also release the list of toppers along with the CEED 2025 scorecard?
The scorecard of CEED 2025 will be released tentatively in the 2nd week of March 2025. IIT Bombay will also release the name of the toppers sometime thereabout. The details will be released in the form of a press release.
In the 2023 edition of the exam, the CEED exam was topped by Ms. Khyati Rathor, who scored 68.85 marks out of 100 marks.
The press release would also include other stats like the number of candidates who registered for, appeared in and qualified the CEED exam. The gender-wise breakdown will also be given. A total of 4,910 candidates appeared in the CEED 2025 exam.
Q: Â Can I use the CEED 2025 scorecard for admission to result-sharing institutes?
The result-sharing institutes of CEED 2025 will allocate some of their M.Des seats for CEED 2025 qualified candidates. However, these institutes may also use scores of other entrance exam for admission purposes.
So, if you have qualified CEED 2025, you can apply to these institutes. Note that there will be no joint counseling for the result-sharing institutes. So, you need to apply directly to the institute you are seeking admission to.

Also, note that the scorecard of CEED 2025 will be valid only for a period of one year. So, if the candidate doesn’t take admission within that one-year period, the CEED 2025 scorecard will no longer be valid for admission purposes.
