NIFT Exam Centre 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the written exams for NIFT 2025 in 82 cities across India.
The list of exam centers for NIFT 2025 is given in the NIFT 2025 Information Bulletion.
You can select your choice of exam center at the time of filling out the NIFT application form 2025.Â
The details of the exam center allocated to you will mentioned on the NIFT 2025 admit card. The admit card also contained other details like the exam center reporting time, allowed and barred items inside the center, etc.Â
On exam day, you must report at the exam center on or before the reporting time; entry to the exam center will be closed 30 minutes before the exam commences.
Note that admit cards will be released separately for the NIFT 2025 Situation Test/ Personal Interview.Â

Q: Â In how many test centres will the NIFT 2025 exam be conducted?
The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in 82 cities.
Note that in the previous edition, the exam was conducted in 60 cities and 72 centres across India.
The list of exam cities is published on the NIFT 2025 admission brochure.
Note that the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) doesn't release the consolidated list of exam centres at the time of release od the application form. It only publishes the list of cities where the written exam will be conducted. So, the candidate only has to select the exam city.
The name and adress of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the NIFT 2025 admit card.
The exam city is allocated basis information provided at the time of filling out the NIFT 2025 application form. The allocation will depend on various factors like number of test centres available in a city, seat intake, the address of the candidate, etc. Once an exam centre has been allocated, requests for a change will not be entertained.

The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted across 82 cities in India. Note that each exam city may have one or more than one exam centre. So, the candidate will only be able to select an exam city, but not an exam centre. The exam centre will be allocated by the admission committee after considering factors like the address of the candidate, number of test centres in the city selected by the candidate, seat intake etc. The details of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.
The candidate can select a maximum of THREE exam cities; the entries must be in the order of pririty.

The GAT paper for all the B.Des and M.Des courses was conducted from 9 am - 11 am. Meanwhile, the GAT written exam for B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. courses was conducted from 9 am - 12 noon.
Candidates needed to report to the NIFT 2025 exam centre at least an hour in advance.
Note that the CAT paper for the B. Des and M.Des courses was held from 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm.
The purpose of reporting early is to complete admission formalities, including registration, frisking, verifying the identity of the candidate, etc. Note that the exam timings and reporting time for the NIFT 2024 exam was mentioned in the admit card.

Mentioned below is a list of documents and stationery that aspirants need to carry with them when appearing for the NIFT entrance exam 2025. Apart from this, candidates can also go through exam day tips for the NIFT exam.
What to Carry on Exam Day?
On the day of the NIFT exam candidates need to positively carry all the below-mentioned documents and stationery:
- NIFT Admit Card: Candidates without a printout of the NIFT 2025 admit card will not be allowed to sit in the exam. Digital copies will not be accepted. Also, ensure that paste a photograph on the designated space and bring the self-declaration copy duly filled in.
- Bring an additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet.
- The photo ID must be valid and original. Photocopies or printouts of the ID proof will not be accepted.Â
- Stationery: You need to bring a ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers; make sure to carry the items only in a transparent pouch.
- If you are appearing in the CAT exam, then you are also allowed to bring coloring and drawing materials.Â

NIFT 2025 Exam Centres for the Situation Test
The NIFT 2024 Situation Test for the B.Des program will be conducted around March-April 2025. The Situation Test will be conducted offline at various NIFT campuses. Eligible candidates have to select a preferred exam center or NIFT campus at the time of the campus booking process.
Campuses will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The details of the exam center/ NIFT campus allocated to the candidate were mentioned on the NIFT 2025 admit card along with other details like exam timings and exam-day guidelines.
Meanwhile, the personal interview for the M.Des program will be conducted tentatively in March 2025. The personal interview will be conducted in an offline mode.

Note that for NIFT 2023, the GAT written exam was re-conducted for some centres that faced technical issues. NIFT officials notified candidates about the affected centres on its official website. So, a re-exam for NIFT 2024 will only be conducted if candidates arent able to complete the GAT or CAT paper due to a technical or some other issue. In such a scenario, exam officials may decide the re-conduct the NIFT 2024 exam. Note that in the event of a re-exam, NIFT officials may issue fresh admit cards for affected candidates, along with the names of the alloted exam centres.
