AP PGECET 2025 Counselling: APSCHE will conduct the AP PGECET 2025 counselling in different phases. It will be conducted for GATE and AP-PGECET-qualified candidates. The AP PGECET 2025 counselling will be conducted separately for both AP PGECET-qualified and GATE-qualified candidates. Candidates qualified for the exam will be eligible to attend the counselling. AP PGECET 2025 admission counselling will comprise registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and document verification. The authorities will release the AP PGECET dates for counselling on the official website. However, the expected date for the counselling is September 2025. 

AP PGECET 2025 counselling is organized separately for qualified candidates for AP PGECET 2025 and GATE/GPAT. The web counselling fee for SC/ST candidates is INR 500, and for others, it is INR 1000/-. The payment can be made through net banking or a credit or debit card. Candidates can download their allotment order by providing their hall ticket and date of birth. 

As part of the AP PGECET seat allotment process, aspirants will be allotted seats based on their preferred choices, merit, and availability. The AP PGECET Phase II Seat Allotment result will be released on the official website. The official notification will be available after the completion of the PGECET exam 2025. As per 2024 updates, the official notification for AP PGECET Phase II was released in the second week of September 2024 for GATE-qualified candidates. The Phase II seat allotment result was announced in the fourth week of September 2025 for GATE and GPAT-qualified candidates. Self-reporting and reporting at colleges by candidates will start in the first week of October 2025 for both AP PGECET and GATE-qualified candidates.

The AP PGECET admission counselling process comprises the following steps:

  1. Choice filling and locking

Documents to be Submitted for Online Document Verification

Candidates registering through GATE/GPAT must submit the following documents for verification. The certificates uploaded must be original -

  • GATE/GPAT scorecard
  • Provisional certificate/Degree certificate and Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination
  • Memo of SSC or its equivalent
  • Study Certificate from Class 10th to graduation OR Residence certificate preceding seven years from qualifying examination
  • Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority (for BC/SC/ST candidates)
  • Residence certificate of father or mother for 10 years in A.P. excluding the period of their employment outside A.P. from M.R.O in case of candidates who have studied outside the state A.P
  • Transfer certificate
  • Candidates who have studied in Telangana but wish to claim AU/SVU regions have to submit a local status certificate

The APSCHE will announce the AP PGECET 2025 cutoff after the declaration of the results. The cutoff will vary from institute to institute and course to course.
