The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked the aspirants to submit the category certificate for Gen-EWS/ SC/ ST/ OBC(NCL)/PwD while filling the JEE Main 2021 application form. The details have been mentioned in the FAQs section of JEE Main 2021 on the official website. However, if any candidate is unable to submit the category certificates due to the COVID-19 situation they have to submit an Undertaking form self-declare their category status and complete the registration process accordingly. The form has been provided by the NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Earlier, candidates were allowed to opt for category selection and submission in the JEE Main 2021 application form without providing any documentary proof for the same.
JEE Main application form 2021 was released on December 16 on the official website. The last date to apply for JEE Main 2021 is January 16. The online payment can be done until January 17. The application procedure comprises of various stages such as registration, filling the application form, uploading the scanned photo, signature and documents, fee payment and final submission.
Undertaking Form:
The JEE Main 2021 notification was released on December 16. JEE Main 2021 for the first time will be conducted four times (February/March/April/May). The exam will be held in 13 regional languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
According to the JEE Main 2021 exam pattern, 75 questions out of 90 are to be attempted from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The MCQs will have -1 negative marking while no marks will be deducted for the numerical value questions.
