There'll be plenty of opportunities for one to learn and grow in GNITS, says Nandu Tejaswini
By: Nandu Tejaswini
I love spending my free time in the library studying or reading books. I have participated in various hackathons and other competitions conducted by the college. I have also won several prizes in many competitions.
I chose Electronics and Communication course because I absolutely love studying Electronics. I consider it my best subject despite a few exam grades saying otherwise. Employability wasn't really an important factor for me. I wanted to spend the next 3-4 years of my life doing something that I really enjoy. I never wanted to choose anything unwillingly just for the sake of getting a good job.
So, I’m studying my B.Tech in GNITS which is an extremely good college for women. It has a wonderful faculty and is a nice place for women to complete their education. It has well-maintained labs with the latest technology and equipment. It provides good facilities for its students. The environment of college is quite pleasant. In my opinion, it’s the best college in Hyderabad in terms of education and placements.
I wrote the EAMCET exam and secured a rank of 7640. I applied for the top ten colleges. Finally, I got a seat with fee reimbursement in G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science. I was very much satisfied with it. Although my goal was to study in IITs as I was preparing for it. But unfortunately, I didn’t get a seat in it. Since I was preparing for JEE Advance it was easy for me to crack EAMCET. There was no extra training required to crack EAMCET.
I love electronics so I attend every class in college. I am a regular student. I love spending my free time in the library studying or reading books. I have participated in various hackathons and other competitions conducted by the college. I have also won several prizes in many competitions. I’m one of the coordinators for Artista Club and Rotaract club. We conduct events for every occasion.
The college supports and encourages its students to learn new things. It conducts all kinds of workshops, hackathons and other events for better exposure. It always keeps its students well-informed of the upcoming courses and technologies. There'll be plenty of opportunities for one to learn and grow in this college, so much that it would be hard for a student to choose one.
Overall, it is an amazing college. I would highly recommend this college to anyone that's serious about his/her education and wants to have a good career ahead not only with a job in hand but also with knowledge and experience.
