BITS HD Syllabus 2025 - The Birla Institute of Technology and Science will release the BITS HD 2025 syllabus on its official website. The syllabus will cover all the probable chapters and topics that can be asked during the BITS HD 2025 exam, which is expected to be online in the third week of May. Candidates must download their BITS HD Hall Ticket 2025 to appear in the respective schedule for the test. The syllabus for BITS HD can help candidates strategise and prepare well for the examination. BITS HD admissions will be conducted for the BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Q:   What are the subjects asked in BITS HD 2025 exam?

A:

Applicants are advised to go through the BITS HD exam pattern for their preparations. BITS HD 2025 paper 1 will be common for all candidates comprises questions from Core Mathematics and English Language Skills and logical reasoning. BITS HD 2025 paper 2 will be subject specific. However, applicants looking for admissions in ME Software Systems or Sanitation Science, Technology and Management have to appear for a separate test.

Q:   What is BITS HD exam date 2025?

Birla Institute of Technical Science will release the BITS HD 2025 exam date along with the official notification. BITS Pilani conducts BITS HD 2025 exam online (computer-based test). Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their BITS HD admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Q:   Do I need to appear in BITS HD 2025 exam if I have GATE/GPAT score?

A:

No, applicants having valid GATE/GPAT score do not have to appear in the BITS HD 2025 exam. Candidates need to fill the GATE/GPAT exam details, such as providing their GATE 2025 scores at the time of filling the application form. The iteration result for GPAT/GATE and BITS HD exam will be released separately on the official website.

Q:   How many questions are there in each section of the BITS HD 2025 exam?

The Birla Institute of Technical Science conducts BITS HD (BITS Higher Degree Test) at dedicated centres in different cities in India. The institute will release the exam pattern along with the official notification. As per the exam pattern of BITS HD, the exam takes place online comprising of Test I and Test II. The exam pattern for candidates applying for ME in Environmental Engineering and Software Systems is different.

Syllabus for Test I:

This part includes topics such as core mathematics, English language, logical reasoning, and verbal reasoning.

Syllabus for Test II:

The syllabus for Test II will encompass topics from Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics.

Syllabus for Special Test In Software Systems:

This is Structured Programming in C, Advanced Programming in C, Object Orientation and Software Engineering, Database Systems, and Core Systems.

Q:   How many sections are there in the BITS HD 2025 exam?

A:

Birla Institute of Technical Science has released the BITS HD 2025 exam pattern on the official website. There will be a total of 2 sections in test 1 - Core Mathematics and English Language Skills & logical reasoning. Papers 2 & 3 will have one section each. Candidates will be provided with 60 minutes to attempt test 1 while test 2 will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes.

Q:   What is the duration of the BITS HD 2025 exam?

BITS Pilani will provide the exam pattern of BITS HD in its official brochure. The exam pattern includes the test duration of the exam for different test papers, which are as follows -

  • The duration of Test I (compulsory for all students) is 45 minutes

  • The duration of Test II is 105 minutes

  • On the other hand, the BITS HD test duration for software systems and environmental engineering is 60 minutes.

A:

BITS HD 2025 exam level of difficulty varies from moderate to tough. The questions will be selected randomly from a large question bank. Different candidates will get different question sets. The experts will ensure that the difficulty level of the question sets are evenly distributed. Therefore, it is advised that the candidates prepare throughly for the exam, especially the fundamentals. The difficulty level of BITS HD 2025 exam will be easy in comparison to GATE exam.

The BITS HD 2025 test centres list will be available once the information brochure is released. However, the exam for BITS HD 2024 was conducted in 46 cities across India. The test cities list for BITS HD 2025 will be updated soon.
