Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 exam date at the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. KCET 2025 exam will be conducted on April 18 & 19. KEA conducts KCET 2025 exam in offline centre based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof. KCET exam date 2025 for Kannada language exam will be released separately.

Q:   Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?

A:

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.

Q:   How many questions will there be in the KCET 2025 exam?

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam pattern in the official notification. The KCET 2025 exam comprises 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 60 questions from various topics. Candidates appearing in the exam are advise to go through the KCET exam pattern 2025 thoroughly for their effective preparations. Applicants will be provided with 80 minutes to complete each paper. Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga have to appear for the KCET Kannada language exam. The Kannada language of KCET exam comprises 50 questions. Candidates will be provided with 60 minutes to complete the language test.

Q:   Do all candidates have to appear in KCET Kannada language exam?

A:

No, only candidates from Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga have to appear in the KCET 2025 Kannada language exam. The minimum passing marks for all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in Kannada Language Examination conducted by KEA in order to be considered for assignment of ranks and to become eligible for allotment of seats in CET exam. KCET Kannada Language Test paper 2025 will be of 4th Standard Level.

KCET Exam Pattern 2025

The exam authority has released the KCET 2025 exam pattern on the official website. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the exam pattern of KCET 2025 for their preparations. Q:   What type of questions are asked in KCET paper?

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam pattern in the official notification. KCET 2025 exam comprises multiple choice questions. Each question in KCET exam 2025 will have 4 alternatives. Applicants have to mark their answers in OMR sheet provided at the time of exam. There will be only one correct option to each question asked in the KCET exam. There will be no numerical type questions. Applicants have to mark their final answers only from the alternatives provided in the question booklet. There will be no question in KCET 2025 question paper with multiple correct alternatives.

Q:   What is the duration of KCET UGET exam?

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority conducts KCET Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics paper in separate slots. Each paper of KCET exam 2025 is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. KCET exam Biology and Mathematics exam will be conducted on same day while Physics & Chemistry exam will be conducted on separate day. Applicants are not allowed to leave the KCET 2025 exam hall before the conclusion of the exam. There will be no break in the KCET exam. The shift 1 exam of KCET 2025 will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM while shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 3.50 PM.

Karnataka Examination Authority does not release the KCET mock test online. However, candidates appearing in the exam can access the KCET 2025 mock test from the websites of various coaching institutes.
