SITEEE Centres 2025: Check City/State-wise Exam Centres List

Candidates who are aspiring to join B.Tech. programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) need to appear for the common yet mandatory Computer Based Test (CBT). SITEEE will be conducted online and will have three sections: - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The SITEEE was earlier known as SET. The duration of the SITEEE online exam is one hour, or 60 minutes. Each question in SITEEE will carry two marks. The exam will be held across several test cities in India.

The exam pattern is a major aspect for the candidates to understand before preparing. The SITEEE exam pattern provides a transparent idea about the exam structure and pattern. Through the SITEEE exam pattern, candidates will come to know the duration of the exam, mode, marking scheme, type of questions, and total number of questions asked in the exam. There are three sections in the SITEEE exam: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The duration of the SITEEE examination is 60 minutes, which is one hour. The exam authority will not allow any extra time for any candidate to answer the questions. So, in the allotted time span, the candidate has to complete the exam paper. Also, from the Physics and Chemistry sections, 15 questions will be asked, and from the Mathematics section, 30 questions.

It is not mandatory to attempt all the questions in the SITEEE exam. Candidates can attempt any number of questions out of the total 60 questions in the exam. Each question in the SITEEE exam carries two marks. Therefore, for every correct answer, a candidate will get two marks. Here it is to be noted that there is no provision for negative marking, i.e., no marks will be deducted for the wrong answers. So, candidates can give it a try to get the answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should not be left and can be tried at the examination centre.

SITEEE admit card is a mandatory document that you need to carry at the examination hall to avoid any inconvenience. Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination. It serves as the primary form of identity proof during examinations. 

The SITEEE exam is a bit easier than the JEE Mains. But if a candidate does not prepare well, then the exam will be difficult for him or her. The questions asked in the exam are of 11th and 12th standard. There is no negative marking, and each question carries two marks. So, in total, the paper is worth 120 marks. It is advised by the candidates to do proper revisions during the preparation period. Further, it is advised to the candidates that they should remain cool-minded in the examination centre and attempt all those questions that a candidate knows for sure in the first go, and second time go through the paper to see which questions are still there to solve. Spend one or two minutes at max to solve such questions. There is no negative marking in the SITEEE exam, so intelligent guessing and quick paper solving can lead a candidate in a positive direction. Rest depends on how much preparation a candidate does.

The SITEEE admit card bears details related to the candidate as well as the exam. If any candidate found any error in the details then they should contact helpline services immediately. Candidates should check the following details carefully:

• Spelling of candidate’s name
• Spelling of Parent’s name
• Date of birth
• Caste category
• Photo should be visible

Candidates should carry a photo identity proof in original issued by the Government of India or their previous college or university along with the SITEEE admit card. Check below for the following ID proofs that are valid, and candidates can carry any one of them to the examination centre:
