Q:   What will be the duration of the TJEE?

A:

As per the official TJEE pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 180 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt 90 multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and Biology during the allotted duration. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates to complete the examination. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice their time-management skills to be prepare well for the examination.

Q:   Will TJEE be held online?

A:

No. TJEE will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to select the correct answer from the provided options and mark it accordingly in the OMR answer sheet. The candidates will have to mark the answers correctly otherwise it will not be evaluated by the authorities.

The official marking scheme is released through the TJEE exam pattern. As per the official marking scheme, the candidates will be allotted 4 marks for every correct answer. However, for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Highlights of TJEE 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Before the exam, the candidates are advised to read and go through the instructions carefully.
  • Candidates are advised to not spend too much time on the questions they are unsure about.
  • The total duration of the TJEE 2025 paper is 3 hours.
  • The questions of the examination will be framed based on the Syllabi of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination which is in force w.e.f. 2008.
  • The TJEE syllabus for each subject is divided into 10 Modules.
  • There will be 30 compulsory MCQs, taking 3 questions from each Module for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
  • Each question will carry 4 marks, i.e. total marks for a question paper will be 120.
  • Each question will have four options (i.e. A, B, C, D) out of which the correct /closest option (A/B/C/D) is only to be identified.
  • After selecting the correct/closest answer the candidate will have to fill the corresponding circle (i.e. A/B/C/D) in the appropriate space provided in OMR Sheet. 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

As per the official TJEE syllabus, the candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject has been divided into 10 modules. TJEE 2025 Syllabus

The official TJEE 2025 syllabus will consist of information regarding the subjects, units and topics that need to be studied for the entrance examination. The level of the TJEE syllabus will be based on the 11th and 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination level. The units and topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology have to be studied for TJEE 2025.
