- Candidates who were allocated a seat but failed to report to the allotted college.
- A candidate who was allotted a seat in the previous phase but cancelled their admission.
TS PGECET Counselling 2025: Procedure
Below is the detailed TS PGECET 2025 counselling process
Step 1—Registration and payment of counselling fee: First, eligible candidates must register for the counselling process and pay the required fee. Candidates can follow the website guidelines or use the facilitation centres provided by the authority.
Candidates must register with basic details such as email address and phone number. The counselling fee for general category candidates is INR 600, while the reserved category candidates must pay INR 300. The fee can be paid online through any online payment gateway.
Step 2—Filling out the online application form: After registration, candidates must fill out the form with personal, communication, and academic details. All candidates must upload a recent scanned photograph and their GATE/GPAT admit card in the application. A printout of the application must be taken for further admission process.
Step 3 - Document Verification: Registered candidates must visit the TS PGECET counselling 2025 help centres and verify their documents. Candidates must bring the photocopies for verification along with the original copies of the required documents. Below is the list of documents required for verification:

- Qualifying examination degree/provisional certificate and mark sheets

Step 5 - TS PGECET Seat Allotment: The seat allotment process will be conducted in two rounds. The authorities will allot seats according to the ranks secured, preferences, category, and availability. Details about the seat allotment will be available online.
Candidates who are selected must report to the respective institute on the prescribed date and time. To confirm admission, they must also pay the required fee and submit the documents.
Certificates to be Uploaded during Registration and Filling Application Form
Candidates who have qualified in GATE / GPAT / TS PGECET are required to upload the following documents for verification:
Scan and upload the original certificates, which include:
- GATE / GPAT Score card / PGECET Rank Card.
- Original Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidate Memorandum Marks (CMM) of the qualifying Examination.
- Intermediate / Diploma / 10+2 Certificate.
- SSC pass certificate or its Equivalent as proof of Date of Birth.
- Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation.
- Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination, i.e., Graduation, for candidates who have pursued private study without any institutionalized education (Distance / Open education mode).
- Integrated community (Caste) certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable, for BC / SC / ST candidates issued after June 2, 2014.
- Latest Income Certificate on or before January 1, 2025, if applicable.
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation certificate valid for 2025, applicable only to OC candidates. This certificate should be issued by MRO / Tahsildar.
- Non-local candidates need to submit specific certificates to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats. The eligible candidates must upload scanned copies of their Residence or Employer certificates for the verification process.

Options can be exercised for certain colleges even if vacancies are not currently available, as vacancies may open up due to sliding, cancellations, and conversions.
