Bihar STET Preparation 2024: Candidates preparing for the Bihar STET exam often face hurdles in finding a comprehensive preparation strategy that is time-bound and result-oriented.  The Bihar STET 2024 exam is one of the most awaited exams in Bihar for candidates willing to take up teaching as a profession. The Bihar STET exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET syllabus and subjects differs for both papers. Have a look at the Bihar STET syllabus for Paper 1 below:

  • Language- English/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Sanskrit: The questions will be asked from the topics studied at Graduation and Higher Secondary levels. Basic language skills, such as reading, writing and verbal ability will be tested.
  • Maths: The questions in this subject will be asked on the topics of Graduation level.
  • Science: Various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Biology up to Class 12. Questions will be asked about all the topics to ensure that candidates know all disciplines.
  • Social science: The questions in Social Science will be asked from the subject

Know the Exam Pattern and Syllabus

  • Bihar STET is conducted in two parts, Paper 1 and Paper 2, Paper I is conducted for the secondary level and Paper 2 is conducted for the higher secondary level. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks to clear each paper. A candidate from the General category needs to secure 50% marks to qualify the exam and candidates from other categories must secure 45% marks to qualify.
  • Paper 1 includes English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Science. Paper 2 includes English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science. Development and Pedagogy, Languages, Mathematics, science and social science.
  • Both the papers contain 150 questions and carry total marks of 150 each, the total duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes

A:

No, there is no negative marking in the Bihar STET exam. Candidates are awarded zero marks for an incorrect answer in the Bihar STET examination. There are total 150 questions in Bihar STET Paper 1 and Paper 2 each. In the exam, one mark is given for each correct answer and 0 for the incorrect answer. There is no negative marking in the exam for any incorrect answer or unattempted question in the BSEB STET exam.

Bihar STET result 2024 for paper 1 and 2 has been declared on 17/11/2024.

A total of 70.25% of candidates have qualified in the exam in 49 subjects of both papers as per Bihar STET 2024 result.
